I’ve always had exemplary service no matter what time of day or night I go. Very good prices and helpful staff. They have discounts daily, sell gift certificates and do deliveries.

Everyone is nice and helpful and very friendly. Plus I saw a South African Mastiff there once which is an automatic 5 star rating

After being somewhat rudely rejected by several bigger liquor stores Ridgely came through! I am out of state and needed a last minute delivery to a family member for Christmas Eve. Zoe was incredibly kind and service oriented and took care of me. Thank you!

I love this place because the prices are cheaper than most liquor stores in the city for the whiskey I usually buy.
This place also offers an employee discount for customers who work in the same shopping center which I find very nice.

Tucked away in the corner by the Lutherville Physians building on York Road, you will find Ridgely Wines and Spirits. This family owned establishment has, by far, the ultimate customer service focused staff that I have witnessed for a wine and spirit store. Dave, the owner, has instilled a "customer first" approach in the training of his staff. From the greeting you receive when entering Ridgely Wines and Spirits, the "thank you" which you receive after your purchase, to having a staff member carry your items to your car! The staff provide well thoughtout informed recommendations when patrons have questions regarding which wines they should utilize when pairing with certain foods. They will not make recommendations based upon what they want to sell but on what would best suit your needs. Unlike a majority of the wine and spirit stores, Ridgely Wines and Spirits will go out of their way to bring in a wine or spirit just for you! If it is 12 bottles or 1 bottle, ask and they have absolutely no problem in procuring the product you desire. Best of all, they will not gouge you on the price! Lastly, they have a standing freezer near the checkout station which is packed with 16/20, 21/25 and 26/30 domestic wild caught white or brown shrimp. The shrimp are of the highest quality and are packaged in a 5# box. The Texas Browns and Gulf White shrimp are what the high end restaurants utilize as the flavor profile is off the charts crazy good! Once you have these shrimp you will never-ever eat the tasteless Asian farm raised tiger shrimp which are breed in despicable conditions using what amounts to slave labor for cleaning and packing the shrimp, and with minimal to zero oversight in regards to sanitation standards. The shrimp prices are absolutely reasonable for this high quality product. If you are entertaining or just having a seafood feast and need the ultimate big shrimp U-15, U-12 or U-10's just ask for Dave and he will happily bring in the product for you. From wine, spirits and the best shrimp you can buy Ridgely Wines & Spirits is well worth the trip for exceptional customer service, selection and pricing!

Not as much as to choose as the big store; but they carry what I usually drink. And it's less expensive. If you have not, I suggest to try it once!
