Marathon Gas

I meet my ex off the Holt exit to exchange our child every other weekend. This place has the BEST of everything bad for you to eat, and I love it! hunts brothers pizza is always good and fresh, tried the potato wedges today and they are incredible. Biscuits in the morning are freshly made and the people are always incredibly nice. The bathrooms actually lock and while it’s not a 3, 4, or 5 star place to eat and get gas it’s certainly a clean and friendly place to indulge in food and a bathroom break.

I am traveling cross country on a bike with 2 dogs. We stopped in for coffee and breakfast and the staff were amazing! Not only that but they blessed my dogs with a large box full of bacon, sausage and other breakfast treats! The place is fairly old and it's not your typical Marathon. Quite honestly, that in itself is a blessing...we typically avoid Marathons because of their consistent bad attitudes. I'll take a slightly run down gas station full of wonderful people over the other option any day of the week! Thank you guys... God Bless you all!!!!

I was there today and get 3 big egg rolls. $ 3.75 with tax. Delicious.

Good hot food, friendly staff.

The food inside was fire and the staff was very friendly.

Those that have no tolerance for others not like themselves, others with a lower economic status, with different lifestyles and beliefs miss a lot in life. They miss this well run grocery store/gas station. Very clean, well stocked, good variety and surprising good selection/pricing of COLD craft beer! They serve good prepared food and have friendly employees. Didn’t see a Confederate flag. Bigots are small people, wherever they live!

UPDATE: The second time I visited, the gas nozzles were covered. I checked out the bathroom to confirm other reviews. The doors to the bathrooms are outdoors. They see a lot of traffic and need more attention. Originally gave Marathon Gas 5 stars.

It's a rapidly growing town over the past five years and the only convenient store in Holt like during the rush hours in the morning and evening time it gets a little crowded. But there's a deli with great tasting chicken tenders. Oh that catfish is off the chain to.

Arrived here Friday 10-23-20. at 22:10, they were closed and counting money. The listed time on google says Friday's it is open till 11:00pm. This is false information. Im glad I didn't have a small emergency that relied on them to be open, like their advertisement states.

Crazy place to get in and out of. Locals are frustrated that out of towners are using their gas station. Bathrooms were smelly, full of flies but the seat was clean. Just watch your kids with the crazy traffic and frustrated locals.

Fantastic service, and the food is great, but it's just a shame that corporate doesn't care about them enough to get them any working pumps. They only had one out of four pumps available and the other three were broken. * Will revise if pumps are fixed in a timely manner.

Only stopped here because we missed the previous exit and we had almost run out of gas. As we drove away from the interstate down a one mile country road every stereotype of rural panhandle Florida came true as we pulled into the gas station greeted by a prominently displayed confederate flag and locals standing by their trucks with Trump confederate flag bumper stickers. Needless to say my mixed race family did not feel welcome or safe.
