I have now done some individual time, one on one training, as well as a group Skills and Drills training at the Middletown range. The folks that run this place are absolutely awesome. I've been shooting a long time on my own self learning both good and bad habits. Jim at the range and the group of people that partake in the range times are such a great resource. They are so knowledgeable and helpful. I encourage other to take advantage of the great resource and folks that run this setup.

Don’t let the shop deceive. Although small, they have a team of great professionals with HUGE amount of knowledge and expertise. On separate occasions we were able to diagnose ammo issues, barrel repair, and suggested options in firearms for different utilities. Awesome team and even better customer service!

This place is the best! I checked it out the first time about a month ago and have been back several times already. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful in a positive and constructive way. I brought in my teenage daughter who doesn’t know a lot about the gun world. When we left she commented about how much she likes the employees and they positively interacted with her. Shout out to Travis, Eric and Jim. Everyone is great but don’t know the rest of the names.

By far the best gun store around! Staff are all super friendly and super knowledgeable, and they can help both experienced gun buyers and people who are brand new to it!

No judgement from these guys, I recommend them to all my friends who are getting into guns for the first time. They'll walk you through and answer all your questions, and won't judge if you don't know anything or ask 1000 questions. Also have good competitive prices on guns and ammo. Definitely check them out if you're near the area, or even if you aren't; they're worth the drive!

Middletown Firearm Shop and Range exceeded my expectations. Instructor Jim's extensive knowledge made the classes truly exceptional. The range facilities were top-notch, providing a safe and enjoyable experience. Highly recommend for both beginners and experienced shooters.

The Middletown range is a hidden gem in the area. It’s a great facility with both a pistol range and a steel range with more to come from what I’ve been told. Jim does a great job of keeping the place up and running and it’s a joy to get out there whenever I can.

The classes are also great bang for the buck. Jim is an excellent instructor and every class I’ve take with him I have picked up a small nuance that further improves my shooting. If you have a chance to take any of the classes with Jim and the crew over at Middletown, you won’t be disappointed. Especially their red dot classes.

Not only is Middletown Firearms a great place to buy guns and accessories, but it is the best place to have any gunsmithing done. Dan is currently restoring a rifle I purchased that had a split forearm and a few mangled screw heads. A great, all around gunshop!!!

The people who helped me at the store were very helpful and actually led me to get my concealed carry course with Jim. He was phenomenal and he was very down to earth and patient. Very thorough as well and I personally loved that people I'm very inexperienced. Truly will be back not to just shoot but for more courses because I learned a lot today from him. Very thankful to have had him as our instructor and can't wait till our next visit !!!

I went to middletown firearms to get some work done on my sharps carbine. Was very pleased with the work done. Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our experience here! My boyfriend and I came in today to purchase a firearm, and ended up getting one as well as put one on layaway. Don was so helpful with educational tips on protection, usage, and general gun knowledge. I felt comfortable asking questions and everyone was so friendly. Couldn’t have asked for a better first experience. Will be back (and not just for the gun)

Jim runs a fantastic course, I just finished the Red Dot course and learned a lot. Well worth the cost

Absolutely outstanding experience here. The gunsmithing services here are absolutely top notch and John is an absolute master at it. Everything was professionally done and there was awesome communication the whole time they had my weapon. The price was incredibly fair and there were no surprises.

I rarely give 5 star reviews, but this place deserves it.

Ive been to alot of gun stores in my day but this one was the best by a mile in regards to employee interactions. What a pleasure.

The owner is a veteran who continues to serve. I went into the shop with a major weapon issue. I was referred to the shop by a fellow Marine. Unbeknownst to me the owner of the shop served in the same unit as I did. I was treated like family. I was received by welcoming customer service—much like coming home for a huge family gathering.The armorer used his keen skills to repair my rifle quickly on site. During my wait I observed a knowledgeable staff answer every question the other customers asked from their personal experiences. The shop has everything from gun parts, tactical equipment, ammunition and Black Rifle Coffee in every flavor imaginable. I don’t live in the area but when I come to visit this will definitely be the stop for all my firearm needs and my wife’s coffee.

Great guys they didn’t have the gun I wanted in stock but were able to order it fast paperwork process. Very welcoming atmosphere will definitely be back. The CZ Shadow 2 is amazing by the way🤣

Most competitive prices I've ever seen, best customer service I've ever seen at a gun shop and great diversity in firearms on the racks. Bought a Holosun red dot from them the other day and they mounted 2 different options and the staff let me try them out before buying, you CAN not get that type of service at most guns shops and definitely can NOT get that with online shopping.

Great experience at Middletown Firearms! The facility was well staffed and the selection was impressive for a small venue. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. Travis was dedicated to answering all of my questions and assisting me with completing a transfer despite the store being heavily visited during their 7 year anniversary sale. Will absolutely frequent this location.

The staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and overall good people. Prices are the best in the Winchester area, and they have a solid inventory. The only problem with this place, is it's too convenient to get to: right off I-81... I find myself in here too often, checking out what's new. 6/5 stars
