Shipping Place & More

I had what would have been for me a massive print job that had to get done TODAY. That job would have taken me several hours to print, collate, staple, stuff and mail. The Shipping Place printed, collated and stapled the whole thing in about 20 minutes (max). They then helped me stuff my prepaid envelopes and let me put those envelopes in their mail pickup system.

I love The Shipping Place!! All the staff are friendly, so helpful, and answer all my questions (even the dumb ones!). The hours are convenient, and they offer a variety of different services. Not only do they ship your packages, but they will pack them too! They also do printing- documents, booklets and banners, too! You can even buy postage stamps! They ship via FedEx, UPS, and DHL. They even can ship freight. Support our local business owners. They are definitely a gem in our community. I highly recommend.

It is a pleasure to deal with Ted! He is knowledgable about the printing, shipping, and copying services they offer. He'll give me honest information on whether or not he can help me or if I should go somewhere else. I appreciate his him help and feedback. I would highly recommend this store. The gentleman at the desk could not have been nicer. He helped me to figure out how to get my package to where it needed to go at the least expensive rate and the quickest route. He was very knowledgeable and professional. While at the same time being friendly. It is so nice to see that there are still nice people in our area that are willing to go above and beyond and help their customers.

Had the need for faxes and copies and trusted the owner and everyone employed at the shipping place. I had never been here before and it made my day! Alex came to the car to help, and carried my heavy boxes and Julia couldn't have been more professional, friendly and knowledgeable regarding the difficult return I was making. They made a great team. They went above and beyond to make my challenging Fed Ex return a pleasant surprise. I even called the owner, Ted, this morning to tell him how impressed my friend and I were. Thank you for putting a happy smile on our faces.

THE BEST!! My wedding is in just a few short weeks and I desperately needed to print some pieces a friend made for my wedding including 12 table numbers, over 100 escort cards, and four prints of our signature cocktails signs. I spent hours online navigating the big printing companies websites trying to do it myself until I decided to go to The Shipping Place. They were amazing! So kind and willing to help. I sent them my documents, and the dimensions, and they printed a proof for me before continuing the job. They printed the proof and reassured me that all my materials would be ready by the end of the week at the latest! I went in on Tuesday and all my materials were ready, cut to size, and escort cards were folded and in table order all by Thursday. I could not be happier with their service! The prints came out so well; I'm very relieved! I will absolutely be going back to print wedding photos. Thank you, Shipping Place for your convenience, customer service, and support!

2021: They understand a small business like mine and make the most economical suggestions with the highest quality products. Services I've used include photocopies with special features and large vinyl signs.
2023: Still a great experience. They've added some new services, the staff is well-informed and friendly. High quality products (copy paper, etc.)

I have many documents to print for personal and professional reasons. I first contacted Ship it via email. Much to my amazement I received a prompt, polite, and informative reply. When I had more questions, again the same. My visit was filled with exemplary customer service. I was not rushed, we discussed the best printing options for me. I also found out about their other services, from mailbox rental, to custom stamps, international shipping, and computer availability. Both employees treated me with respect and courtesy, genuinely were interested in meeting my needs, and providing excellent customer service!!!!

Over the past several years, my husband and I have shipped many things from The Shipping Place in Hyde Park and have been extremely pleased with the attention to detail that Ted has given each and every item. This past year as we divided up our parent's estate, Ted shipped priceless antique dishes, that had been in our family for generations, across the country. We trusted Ted because we knew he would make sure they would arrive safely, and of course, they did! Recently we shipped an antique, drop leaf table to our son in Texas, which required Ted to build a custom box, and it arrived in perfect condition. Then, just last week, he came to our house and picked up an antique cabinet, made a custom box and shipped to our daughter in Oregon. He was also able to pack the set of china and place inside the cabinet to avoid shipping another box. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for and when it comes to shipping family heirlooms, the time, detail and expertise that Ted puts into packaging, wrapping and making sure they arrive perfectly, is worth every penny. I've never had a bad experience here. Staff might not smile at you until their faces go numb, but they're plenty friendly and competent.

I ship things from here about once a month, minimum. Pre-posted stuff, things I need a special envelope for, rush orders... Always a positive experience.

And there's a nice dog there, so sometimes I get some pets in. 👍

I ALWAYS mail my packages from the Shipping Place. I never worry about a delivery to my destination. I'm done with the USPS losing my mail. The service is always friendly and helpful , ready to answer any questions . If I don't have a box adequate to ship out , they help you any way they can and they get the job done. Absolutely Amazing!
The Shipping Place was tasked with shipping my family heirloom Grandfather clock to Texas. At 6.5 feet tall, 12 inches deep, 20 inches wide, and heavy in weight, this was no easy task. The shop owner took care of disassembly at my home, transport to his shop, wrapping, crating, and all other aspects required. The clock arrived at it’s destination in the timeframe stated. Most importantly of all it was completely intact with no scratches, no damaged glass, no dents in the clock weights and no damage to the delicate clock inner workings. I call that amazing!

This is not the first time I have had excellent results shipping with the Shipping Place. Prior to this an antique full size oak baby cradle, an antique hand- made child’s rocking horse, and a very delicate vintage wicker child’s doll carriage was shipped from NY to Alaska. All made it in-tact with no damage.

Clearly the attention to details, and the proper preparation for shipment were paramount to the success of this endeavor.

For these reasons, I highly recommend the Shipping Place!
