Fast get in fast to get out, meats is good, with a good price. Cans foods are high. They have hot and cold plates and good food. You have to look at the dates on sale items.

I visit here every so often and it's always a good/normal experience. It's clean and well stocked, which is great compared to bigger chain grocery stores like Walmart. They usually never have an issue with empty or bare shelves. Their prices are a bit higher than I like to pay compared to other stores so I don't come here often but it's a nice option when I don't feel like taking on the task of going to Walmart for quick purchases. I wish their prices were lower but it's a good neighborhood market to have around.

I remember when my mom shopped at what now is Johnson's but then Piggly Wiggly. I love that store, it's smaller yet so clean, great choice of meat cuts, and veggies, fruit . Never have I saw any bad produce. . Friendly staff and very easy to find your items

As long as I can remember this store has always been here and always had the freshest produce and the best Meat around. Once you try this Store your guaranteed to go back again an again. Oh and not overpriced either.......

Best grocery store in Gadsden. Best selection, best prices. And the staff is so friendly and helpful. And they help you get your groceries in the car and refuse tips! They should be allowed to receive tips!!

The produce is always the freshest and from local farms when able.

Oh and the deli!!!! Did I mention how they have an awesome hot deli bar?? And the deli staff are excellent!
I'd rather have meat and cheese freshly sliced over the prepackaged stuff.

They also have smoked meat. Chicken and ribs! So delicious!
I guess my favorite thing about the store is the hot chicken and dressing with gravy from the hot deli bar 😋

Visited my in-laws in Gadsden to enjoy grills for the weekend.. We needed to buy Short Ribs and Chicken, so we got it all from here. You can request how you want your meet to be cut. I would consider it a decent price, but it doesn't really differ from Publix etx. Got 9lbs. of short ribs for $60. It looks and feels fresh. Ww were also able to try their cooked foods. Chicken was fried nicely and I like how the breading taste and make the chicken skin so crunchy. Sweet potato yam and Strawberry cobbler is also delicious and highly recommended. It's a ho to grocery store here in Gadsden and I wouldn't doubt it for a second.

Absolutely wonderful, the little clerk, herself, got out of line and opened up a register, she heard me say "they need to open up another line". She jumped right in there and got things rolling. She absolutely made my day, because she was not only efficient, she was sweet and kind

I Love Johnsons!! I live within walking distance. I walk to this location all the time and get what I need and walk home. The meats and produce are always fresh. Employees are nice. Store is clean.

Always have a good experience in all sections of Johnson's downtown Gadsden except for the produce department, the guy just stands there in your way taking extremely too long stocking onions and potatoes. Checkout girls are always polite

clean store nice employees they are fast and friendly and have a pretty good selection of foods to choose from and the best part is they have readers choice award winning deli and meat dept produce and something else but i cant remember they have great managers and its fmaily owned by a local family who are incredibly nice people the johnsons

Best supermarket we've found here. Large deli selection. Lots of goods to choose from. Was glad to find this place. Managed to have a great bbq because of them.
