I’ve been to many spice and tea shops and this one does not disappoint!! The gentleman who helped us went above and beyond to create a blend of tea we were looking for, and I found several spices that were unique and smelled amazing, I’m excited to get home and make a good meal with them. There was a large variety of tea supplies and cuIinary finds as well. I am here visiting family and will be stopping in again next time I’m in town for sure!

The staff is incredibly friendly, they have an amazing, wide selection of spices, teas, coffees, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and more. I bought some catnip for my two cats (among other things) and I was encouraged to smell it - this is like the third store I've gone to where I've been encouraged to smell catnip, which I find hilarious.

You will not find nicer people and better spices than this store here. Period!

The people that run this store are beyond sweet and kind. They have great tastes in spices, know their stuff and frankly make you feel welcomed!

A returning customer each trip. Friendly couple specializing in teas, spices, oils and other culinary surprises. Also has a huge assortment of regular and gluten free soup mixes. Bought our first cooking Himalayan salt block and have enjoyed cooking on both the grill and oven for a faster and salty cook of steak, chicken and fish. Believe they will ship out orders too!

I visited from Chicago, we were drawn in by the tea, but wow! So much more. I was hoping to find ground ghost pepper...i love spicy & it is very hard to find, even here in Chi, but they had it! The owner was friendly & knew everything in the shop. She pointed out another spice mix she thought I would like & yes! I absolutely love it. She then talked us thru all the hot sauces, we were both looking for something different. She said "try this one on eggs!" And I've been using it every morning! Def will come back. Great for gifts, great for yourself, fun shopping experience.

Wow! This was our favorite shop in Marquette. The selection of teas, spices, drink mixes, baking essentials, and accessories is unlimited. The service is knowledgeable and kind, making it all around a must stop. The prices are also fair for the finer quality.

One of my favorite shops to shop at when I visit Marquette. The variety of teas and spices is amazing. They also carry brewing supplies and mugs for the teas. I always get a new novelty tea infuser and this year it was a sea turtle hatchling. They have mortar and pestle sets and flavored olive oils and vinegar. I always check out the cocktail syrups and bitters.

Great selection of teas, spices and hot sauces. Very happy to stumble upon this store. Super great customer service.

Really awesome shop down town Marquette! The different spices here are exceptional and they have such a huge variety! The one thing that my son and I really appreciated was that the lady who was working there was very knowledgeable about all of the different spices and how each one of them are used. She was able to answer all of our questions easily! This shop also has a lot of neat kitchen tools that help with your different spices such as grinders, tea seepers etc. The prices are a little bit high BUT you get what you pay for..High quality spices that beat it from your local grocery store any day!! Worth it!

A fantastic shop, filled with amazing selection of both single spices and mouthwatering blends, a variety of loose teas, and wonderful balsamic vinegars and oils. Also had the grinders, mortar and pestles, and tea paraphernalia to make a complete use of your purchases.
Worth a drive just to walk around ghee shelves and smell the air! Large canisters can be opened so you can smell them before you buy, very helpful.

This store has just about every spice, rub and tea that you can think of. I am particular to the "Climber's High" tea. The "Butcher's Rub" is excellent on beef. They also carry soup starter mixes and a variety of flavored oils. The owners Carolyn and Mike are super nice people. Mike Jr. and Ryan work at the store and are very helpful.

Fabulous store! Owners Mike and Hannah are wonderful and go out of their way to assist you. Teas are well stocked and they will order your tea if not in stock. Stop by and you will not be disappointed!

I come here at least once a month and they always have a great selection of teas and spices in stock. They are very knowledgeable about the products they have and always make excellent suggestions. Spice and Tea Merchants also enable customers to bring in their own jars for those trying to be eco-friendly!

Wide selection of spices especially hard to find. Carolyn, being a "fellow gourmet foodie" she is very knowledgeable and helpful. This is one of my favorite stores downtown. The staff is always very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. After discovering what a difference quality spices make in my cooking, I only shop here for my spices.

This store has the best variety of teas, I can always find what I'm looking for and then some! The spice blends are exceptional, and the employees are friendly! Truly love this shop.

I came in for the first time today! It was a really great experience, and I found some really nice tea that I thought I couldn't find up here. The staff are very helpful, and I look forward to coming more. Thanks for making my first experience very welcoming and memorable.

Just stopped in on our trip through marquette and had an awesome experience here! The guy working in the shop was quick to offer up conversation and reccommended some awesome spices. He also mentioned a couple spots to check out, one being dead river falls. Definitely one of the coolest spots ive seen in the UP so far! Thank you!

Great place to shop for teas and spices! Whatever you can think of- they have! Very old school and craftsy. One of the packets of tea leaves was strawberry lemonade- so cute! A must see for sure!
