King's Appliance & Mattress Store

I’ve shopped a number of times at Kings over the years. Every time I am always so impressed at the vintage/old school approach on the customer service experience I receive. The time they spend with you, the patience they have as you ask questions, the knowledge shared, and the incredible kindness shown to fit my specific needs is amazing.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Len. I stopped in to check out inventory and pricing for some things that a family member was needing. Len took extensive time to educate me even though he knew I wasn’t going to be buying anything at that exact moment. He didn’t treat me as a number to be passed over to get to the next sale. I truly felt like I was the ONLY person in the store. I was the priority. I just don’t get that in my shopping experiences anywhere else. It felt very 1950’s department store shopping. A time where the customer is treated to an exquisite experience of being catered to, waited on, and given customized choices. 😊

I was able to return later with my Father where Len repeated some of the same info to him as if it were the first time he was telling it. He didn’t rush through the conversation, but was kind in repeating answers as my Dad asked about the products. His genuine care about what we wanted/needed was so apparent and it was so appreciated.

I’m writing this to share my gratitude. In a time where clients, customers, patients etc are glossed over quickly and sometimes rudely; this was the total opposite experience. It felt wonderful especially when the purchase was on the higher side. But through it all, I never felt like Kings was just trying to make a sale. There was NO pressure.

To Len, I thank you for working with me and my Dad. You made what could have been stressful into a simple and easy task. You were so freaking awesome. It is very evident you have a big heart. The world needs more kindness and you are definitely putting it out there. To the other staff, thank you for being so gracious every time I stop in to shop.

Great web site. Good and clear info. Will be looking for another type of review because I visited them today. I will tell you that I would rate them the highest I can. They worked as a team taking care of all our problems and questions. It's cyber Monday so they were not real busy. Three staff members each talked to me to ask if they could help. We finally walked out of there with LG Refrigerator gas range, over the range microwave and a dryer. They were cheaper than the big box store and unlike some of the appliance stores they install it all. After visiting and buying high quality LG appliances the service was great. The installers were quick and accurate. They stayed around to answer the many questions. I would buy from them in a heart beat. Can't say enough good things about the whole experience. If I could I would give 10 stars

If you are in need of a new washer and dryer, look no further and go to Kings! Len was the best and hooked us up with our Speed Queen TC 5004 and DC 5004! This set sure saves time, money and makes laundry no longer a dreaded chore for our family. Feeling like a Queen, thank you Kings Appliance and thank you Len!

I love this place!! Everyone is very professional. The two young men that delivered my bed and TV today were just wonderful,I would give them a 10 on the outstanding job they did. Thank you sooo much. Also would like to add how much they both enjoy working at Kings, they had all good things to say. I just love it when young people are happy with their jobs

Len and Ryan are both truly fantastic to work with. Superior customer service, competitive pricing. I have bought all of my kitchen appliances from Kings and now all of my mattress. No need to go elsewhere, these guys are the best in the business.

They have excellent customer service (thanks Len!) to help us select our new washer/dryer and the install (thank you Greg and Arnie for going above and beyond!) couldn't have gone more smooth! When nobody else had the Bosch dishwasher we were looking for, King's had it. And I was damn glad we drove 2 hours to get it. Made me remember what it was like dealing with a mom and pop shop and not big box stores. You get knowledge of the product, honest recomendations (no sales fluff) and a much more customer oriented down to earth feel.
Len is a great guy who also walked us through a mattress we're looking for and a great sense of humor! If you're like us and want honesty, no pushy sales pitch, great prices and a home town feel, go to Kings. Will be our first go to on our next appliance or mattress purchase.

Our dryer quit working and we need a new one. I looked at several online, but most were quite expensive and 20 or 30 miles away. I searched locally and found King's Appliance. They had several really good reviews, so we went in on a Saturday afternoon. The people were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They gave us information on several models, but didn't try to pressure us. We got a dryer, at a lower price than online. They delivered it to us on Tuesday, set it up, and took the old one away. The installers were friendly and efficient. We are very happy with our new dryer, and will be shopping here again.

Shopped sale prices online for big box stores for a new dishwasher. But, wanting to shop local, we went to King's to shop. Much to our surprise, we found three options, all priced below big box prices. We picked up a Frigidaire sticker-priced at $599, that was $648.00 at Home Depot (on sale). Since we bought one they had in stock, we were all set! Don't assume local always means more expensive! Thanks King's!!!

Excellent product and prices. Great delivery crew. It was an overall great experience and I would highly recommend this store for appliance and mattress needs.

5 star customer service. Kings was the only place within a 75 mile radius that had the correct size and color refrigerator we needed last year when it was so hard to get appliances. Unfortunately for me, it's proved to be a defective unit over the last year. Kings Appliance has made numerous calls on my behalf to GE for repairs and have gone above and beyond to make getting it fixed under the warranty as painless as possible. When the refrigerator stopped cooling, they even lent me something to use at home to keep our food cold until the repair technician from GE could come out to service it. They answer my calls and emails right away and are always courteous despite my frustration with the GE brand. If I had purchased from a big box chain I'd be on my own, up a creek and stuck on the phone arguing with GE for hours. We will absolutely continue to look to Kings for any appliance purchases in the future.

My wife and I bought a Speed Queen washing machine this past summer when ours went out. No pushy salespeople, just a nice guy that showed us a few options in our price range. We bought it and he even helped me load it on my truck. We were so happy I decided to go back for a part for my microwave. They had to order it and it came in less than a week. I’m not the handiest guy and I probably explained the wrong part to him over the phone. When I went in to pick it up, they ordered the part I explained not the one I needed. They apologized for my mistake and said they would order the correct part. I got back into my truck and was backing out when Len came out and handed me the part I needed from another microwave. This customer service was spectacular and he said he would order another one for the store so I would not be inconvenienced. Thanks again Len, I’ll be back because you have a customer for life.

Dealing with the fine folks at King’s is nothing but pleasure. I highly recommend this store.

Excellent first time experience at King's! I purchased a new washer and dryer - - the salesman was straight forward, honest and very helpful. Installers were professional, efficient and excellent. I will never shop at a big box store again for an appliance. I highly recommend King's!!!

Recently moved to the area and found myself in need of a refrigerator! Called Kings and they had what I was looking for, and the guys who delivered it (and the guys at the store) we're so friendly and quick to help me. Definitely coming back and will recommend!

Lovely store to work with. If we have any customers further to the south east we are happy to refer them to Kings. The new owner Ryan is a personal friend and I can personally vouch for his character and strong desire for an outstanding customer experience. We need more family owned small businesses like this!
