Great place to buy reasonably priced tools. Very organized and helpful employees. My go to place for tools that are priced below the big box stores overpriced tools.

GREAT SERVICE! they helped me load my car and we’re patient because I was in the trunk when they came out to help load. Thanks for the help. Unfortunately there was slight confusion about the specific crane I wanted. Yes, I needed a crane to help me move my fridge full of chicken.

Love this place for quick shopping and easy tool finding. This place is across Lowes and sometimes I just don’t like Lowe’s prices and the miles of walking the aisle. Harbor freight has better prices and I always leave with an item, whether I needed it or not.

Love this store and the employees are always willing to help with everything. We joined their club and I can't wait to start getting better deals than usual.

This location is pretty clean both inside and out and has a good amount of stock for a smaller store. Staff is courteous and helpful, but this store seems to be understaffed at times which might be due to the amount of foot traffic at this store. The staff also looks overworked and overwhelmed at times, but I have never had a bad experience with any of them and they seem to work very hard for both the company and the customer. The more popular items on sale go pretty quick as do the free flashlights so it's best to get there early if you are in need of something.

Friendly staff that knows their products! Sure, you may question the low cost vs. durability on said tool but in my opinion, they do have a no questions asked return policy on them(just make sure it's still under warranty of either the receipt or the in store extended warranty) & if unsure, they are glad to be asked about it!

They have some really good prices. I bought a solar outdoor light with motion sensors. It's pretty bright for my dog when she is out past the porch light range. I put it up in a tree where I know it won't be obstructed by leaves in the summer hours. She may not care about the light but I like to be able to see her.

It's a great place for Quality tools. I purchase all my tools here. Excellent prices too. The tools are top quality and if the tools should malfunction or break they will replace them for free. They have a wide variety of tools, ( hand tools, power tools, house hold tools, air compressors, car tools, hand trucks and dollies, plus a whole lot more). Go check them out.

Off the beaten path but worth a visit.
I didn't realize this store was here until I was across the street at Lowe's.
This particular Harbor Freight is by far the cleanest and best stocked HF store that I've been to.
When I visited (on a Tuesday) it was well staffed and personnel were courteous, helpful and knowledgeable.
Corporate should definitely consider signage or local mailings to bring awareness to customers in Hagerstown and to I-81w commuters.

Customer service was amazing!! There’s a new store manager and a new manager during the day! They both were very helpful during my shopping trip! I will continue to shop at this location even though a new one opened closer to me. It’s always great to receive amazing customer service! Also the store was very clean and fuller than it’s been in a year!

Awesome! You can always find great deals on some good products. I know everyone thinks the merchandise here is cheap and worthless, I used to have that misconception as well. I have purchased many things at this location in particular and everything I've purchased has been well worth it and equivalent to much higher priced items at other retail stores. I got a great deal on a 3-ton floor jack and I put it to use all the time. It is the best floor jack I have. The Hagerstown location has a friendly staff. If you've never been there, give it a try and you will be pleasantly surprised

My husband and I were on a 2 week mission trip in Kentucky with our church group and our 6 year old Predator 3500 caught fire. We purchased a new one in Madisonville, KY (about 10 minutes away). A few days later, I received an email from HF with some coupons attached. As this was a $900 expense we hadn't planned on, I called to see if they would honor the coupon. I was told no. I called our local Hagerstown, MD HF and between John & Missy, we were able to use the coupon to get some money back. This meant the world to us, as we already use our own vacation time and money to go help others, and the fact that the local HF near the Dawson Springs area wouldn't even consider it, left me knowing I'd never support their store again. Thank you Hagerstown, MD ... you have our lifelong business!

The Hagerstown hf is typically well stocked and the website is usually spot on with availability when you set this to "my store." So far, my favorites which have held up with homeowner use are the electric hydraulic log splitter, the adjustable "strap twists" for tight jars, oil filters, etc, and the farm Jack for removing long tap rooted old shrubs. Looking forward to trying their backpack sprayer this spring. Always check the front tables for discounts and sale items.

Good place to get stuff for the job if you don't have much money to spend
