Oberweis is simply the best!!! Their milk is the best tasting milk, filled with nutrients and flavor, rich yet refreshing at the same time! And the glass containers keep the milk cold and pure--not a single plastic container in sight.

And my goodness, Oberweis ice cream is the finest ice cream in the world! Made with simply the best milk, the ice cream is somehow rich and light at the same time. The best of both worlds, it satisfies your every craving, while leaving you refreshed! Whereas certain other ice cream brands that boast a rich texture will leave you with a dry throat, Oberweis ice cream is just like tasting their amazing milk. It is truly an experience to remember and worth the drive to Illinois every single time.

Good place for ice-cream near Town Square.

Walking into this place, I love the ice cream parlor feel. It has cases to purchase milk and dairy goods, as well as maple syrup and cheese and meat trays. It even has tables with chess sets out, in case you want to get a game while you wait for your order, or while you eat. The detail is adorable down to the cows stickers on the windows. I had a "frost bite" similar to a DQ Blizzard and it had heaps of Heath Bar! My husband had a Banana Royale with two bananas, vanilla ice cream with pineapple topping, chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce, strawberry ice cream topped with strawberries, and whip cream on top of that. The attention to detail is remarkable. I look forward to returning!

This is probably some of the best ice cream I've ever had! They produce their own milk, have a milk delivery service, and of course...they make their own ice cream. Too bad they don't deliver their ice cream along with their milk, but I guess we can't have everything ;)

It was my first time in here and I got a large chocolate banana milk shake, a large chocolate malt shake, and the strawberry milk in the glass container. I didn't even know they made strawberry milk so I had to get it. Everything tasted fantastic as expected and the staff were very friendly and nice.

Delicious ice cream. Kids love getting balloons here too. I was a little disappointed that my ice cream melted so quickly but the waffle combine was fresh and tasty. It was very crowded when we arrived but the line went super quick and we got our ice cream so fast!

I feel a bit guilty when I go to this Oberweis because I usually go after I visit Advanced Dentistry in the same shopping center. Shhhh, don’t tell Dr Wylde or Dr Klemma. I always enjoy my chocolate shake, except for the price. When Vincent Vega complained about a $5 shake in the movie Pulp Fiction, he would probably freak out at the (approximately) $9 I pay for my large shake at this location. But, I love it too much too resist. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The inside is clean and well kept. The outside has pretty cool seating options and there is a nice lake with a walking path next to the restaurant. Yes, it’s expensive but I will continue to visit this Oberweis because I am addicted to their chocolate shakes. Oh, and how exactly do you pronounce “Oberweis”???

Best ice cream in town hands down. I went with my family of 7 tonight, and all ordered different flavors. All were amazing! We even dropped one ice cream on the floor and asked if we would be able to get a new one, and they kindly said they would be happy to! They even gave us one extra scoop of the ice cream. I want to thank all the workers there.

Not just great ice cream, great surroundings with the town square (or "Town Rectangle", as my daughter more accurately describes it.)

Take the kids, significant other, grandparents, whatever, get an ice cream and take your time. Have a conversation, walk around, take some pictures of the scenery, watch the ducks, etc.

Don't go here if it has snowed recently. The parking lot was not cleared very well at all, and the sidewalk in front of the entrance was not shoveled at all.

Ice cream tast is great. I liked the banana king which comes with 3 scoops of chocolate, pineapple and cherry flavor. I will visit this ice cream shop again. Thanks

First time going after reading the reviews and was pleasantly surprised. The establishment was busy yet had that old time malt shop feel. The assortment of flavors were a little overwhelming but it just means I'll be back for more. The richness of the ice cream and quality of the ingredients can definitely be tasted in the product. I highly recommend stopping by.

Decided to stop here late night and caught them just as they were closing. These guys were very friendly and stayed extra for us. They even let us try few ice cream flavors before we bought several tubs of ice creams. Their buy 2 get 1 free deal was really good.
Ice creams are all very good. There are no artificial flavors and fresh from the dairy.
Overall, really good experience.

It's a well placed store with an outdoor area by running water and many tables where parties and large gatherings can be held.

i went here on a first date and it went terribly, however the obes experience made it much better. i was on a date with a terrible man but the lady working the front named hazel made the experience a 10/10. she was so kind and organized and gave me a delicious scoop of butter pecan in a waffle cone. so grateful for her kindness and service

It was my first experience going to Oberweis Ice Cream. Though we got there very late (about 10 minutes before closing) but they welcomed us with a smile. Their ice cream was out of this world. 10 out of 10 for their quality and customer service.

Obwerweis has the most fresh flavors when it comes to ice cream in the Chicago area. this location is possibly one of the best ice cream places in the area. It's located centrally next to Schaumburg Library. The place has a great vibe for families and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area has water fountains and playing space for kids. There is ample parking and the working staff are very kind.
