Buffalo Exchange

As buffalo exchange locations go, this is a better location. Wish there was at least one more location in Dallas (or Fort Worth) but can't complain. Selling here is great, the buyers are very nice (they won't take everything you bring in - it's their job to be picky!) but they will take on trend items and higher end brands, or combinations of the two. Be cognizant of bringing in items someone might want to pay $20+ for and you should have good success selling here. I've had good luck both buying and selling here. My one and only criticism is the items for sale that are clearly bought wholesale from boutiques, which are always new with tags, in multiples, and abysmal quality. Also the parking isn't ideal, but neither criticism is unique to this location - they are both chain-wide issues, which is why I wouldn't didn't dock a star for them.

I’ve been a Buffalo reseller for 22 years now, and I’ve sold all over the country. I’ve really enjoyed the past year-and-a-half buying/selling at the Dallas location. There’s always a lot of cool and unique merchandise, and the people are just as cool and unique. I’d like to give a special shout out to Karen, the new manager. She is a fantastic person who has worked at BE locations from New York to San Francisco. I can honestly say she knows just about everything there is to know about vintage and current jewelry, accessories, and clothing. I’d also like to give equal props to Kelly, who’s also a manager. He’s brilliant, kind, and one of the most savvy buyers. Alejandra, Yesi, Jennifer, Kristen, and Sam are amazing, too. I just love them ❤ Excellent store with amazing vibe.

I have shopped at this Buffalo Exchange location for many years and it never disappoints! I always find great gems and timeless pieces to add to my wardrobe! I have shopped at many locations in the past, from Houston to NY and the Dallas location is my favorite! I only buy clothes that I absolutely love and I always walk out with a few options! The staff is also always kind, friendly and eager to help.

Just had my first visit at Buffalo exchange! It had a wide range of selection for both men and women! I’m a big fan of 80’s fashion and it had just the type of style that I have been looking for! The staff is very helpful and nice! I love that store is very environmentally conscious!

My friend recommended this place to me while on my hunt for new winter clothing. The men’s section had a great selection of jackets and sweaters as well as jeans. It was really busy when I went so I didn’t get to look at everything I wanted too but the staff was friendly and helpful.

I shopped here and sold my clothes here growing up! Some things are pricey but some things go half off if you see the 50 percent off stamp. They accept more items and offer you more money than other stores that buy your clothes. Came here today to find some swim trunks real quick and they had a pretty good selection. We found some new with tags originally $59 and we got them for $8.50. You can find some good deals in here. Save some clothes from going into a landfill and shop here!!

I always have a good experience when selling my clothes, they usually take majority of it. Their selection of clothes are really good as well! Will continue to come back x

I have shopped here many times before, but this past Saturday was the first time I sold my clothes to Buffalo. Staff is super nice and extremely helpful. I love their selection of clothing and accessories. I prefer Buffalo over other stores in Dallas. I will be back to buy and sell again. I highly recommend.

Quick, efficient, honest and great customer service. The people who work there are friendly and knowledgeable. I made more than I thought I would, (50% for store credit, 25% for cash) got some cute stuff in exchange AND benefited a woman’s charity. Definitely coming back.

Remember to call and check to see what they are taking. Have it clean, pressed and no pilling or cat hair.

Bring your own bag if you want to shop.

I have been selling and buying here for almost 7 years. Love this place! Great for treasure hunting, you might have to dig through a lot but what you find is totally worth it! Employees are always sweet and easy-going. They keep up with fashion trends, the clothes are always great quality. If you are selling I recommend making sure you have at least 25 mins to an hour, the line can sometimes get long, you can also browse the store while you wait to sell! I love buffalo exchange, they care for the community, and are doing a great thing by recycling fashion. :)

A delightful menagerie of style from vintage to modern with appeal for all genders. The friendly and helpful staff make this location top notch. Patient and fair when buying your items, and fairly generous if you opt for in- store credit. Good number of fitting rooms available. The only drawback is the limited parking typical of Greenville Ave, but well worth circling the block a few times.

Met one of the employees, Anna, right away when my wife and I walked in. She was extremely inviting and courteous the whole time we were there. She helped my wife find some cool stuff and we had some great conversations. One of the best thrift shop experiences I've ever had.

I love searching for unique finds here! The staff is always easy to talk to and helpful if you approach them for assistance. I really appreciate that they’re strictly enforcing their face mask policy for all shoppers and employees. Thanks for keeping us safe!

I visited the store last week so this review is COVID based. Firstly, the customer service others have raves about is still fantastic. I had called ahead to confirm and COVID guidelines. They were patient and happy to inform me that in-store shopping is allowed, but you must have a mask, and try to respect the 6ft rule with the other customers. Secondly, the selection here is always my favorite if you’re trying to find some unique pieces (you have to search, but that’s half the fun!). Any accessories you want to try on such as necklaces and sunglasses they request you put in a basket at the counter to be sanitized, which I thought was a great touch! My only, minor, complaint is that they did not make it clear that due to COVID their dressing rooms are closed. They have extended their exchange policy from 5 to 10 days because of this. However, personally, I am one who goes through a process when choosing my final pieces in the dressing room (how it fits, stains, holes, pricing, etc..) and I don’t want to have to come back to exchange for new pieces over and over until I get it right. So if you go through a similar process: heads up! For those who aren’t that picky: this store is still a great place to checkout and get some retail therapy during this time!

Love this place! Store is in a beautiful part of Dallas. I drive 45 minutes to get there, but it's worth the trip every time. They always have a great selection of vintage and newer, but look vintage clothing. Great prices too.

All of these poor reviews are from people being turned down on clothes that they tried to sell, but that’s why buffalo exchange is one of the most consistent consignment stores. The buyers do a good job selecting the garments they purchase. This raises the prices they charge but saves you time sifting through a bunch of junk like you would at a donation thrift store. I can usually find something I like when I walk in.

This is hands down, the best thrift store I've been to. This is just a personal opinion and is based on my taste and likes. It's aimed at the younger "hip" crowd, but truly has things for any adult. There were a lot of new, unused, clothing as well. definitly recommend checking buffalo exchange out.
