Jeremy, April and Jim have been a pleasure to work with! They've milled replacement oak boards for our 16' trailer and huge oak beams for a welcome entrance sign we are building. We made a mistake and requested the beams be too large. Jeremy cut them down, made extra boards out of them and it was all very affordable. He has some of the lowest rates in town, carries a lot of wood in stock and can find the wood you need, even if he doesn't have it on hand. They also sell sawdust for horse stalls. And April sells amazing homemade strawberry preserves/jam and salsa! Very professional, friendly and a nice property. We highly recommend Tolbert Timber Company!

Jeremy Tolbert at Tolbert Lumber in Pinnacle,NC is the best place around for your lumber needs. I am in the process of refurbishing a barn on my property and had never used a sawmill before. I called Jeremy, told him what I was doing and he helped me decide on the kind of wood we needed for the project. He’s fast, dependable and very reasonably priced. He even delivers! Who needs those big box lumber stores, Tolbert Timber can provide what you need! I highly recommend.

Jeremy was great to work with! I got some Ash and Red Oak for some upcoming projects. I have used up about half of the Ash on a coffee table and some cutting boards. I highly recommend using Tolbert Timber for your lumber needs. It’s good to work with a friendly small business!

I recently purchased a piece of dark walnut live edge from Jeremy for a bar top remodel in my home. The wood pieces were beautiful and he let me choose the one that I admired most. He was kind, personable and had a lot of useful knowledge that he was eager to share with me both in conversation and via messenger that he gladly took the time to send me. He and his establishment are very professional in a down home way and I felt totally at ease. The price for the live edge was pretty much unbeatable too! I would totally recommend Tolbert Timber Company! Price was right, experience was right and the product was right! Once my husband and I complete the project I will add pictures.

The owner was very knowledgeable about different types of wood and the size of wood that would be necessary for the project that I wanted to do. He was able to quickly access wood and get it in the kiln quickly so that I was able to do the project in a timely manner. I highly recommend him. He certainly won’t steer you wrong.

Outstanding Craftsman! Wood Geek! My wife and I commissioned Jeremy to do a hood range for us on our new home. Jeremy paid attention to everything we were looking for in our custom kitchen. The results were 10 times better than we would have expected. I will have him do more projects for us in the future for sure.

Jeremy is knowledgeable, passionate, and a genuinely friendly and approachable person. He took the time to understand my specific needs and provided information and recommendations. I spent over an hour there looking at all the boards and just learning about different woods, sanding techniques and finishing. He was incredibly patient and answered all my questions. This company deserves a SIX-star review. Jeremy has a large variety and quantity of wood to choose from. I always see something new or interesting every time I visit. The quality of the wood is incredible but what is even more incredible than the wood is Mr. Tolbert himself. He is very knowledgeable regarding wood and wood related projects and has helped me on numerous occasions by giving me helpful information or advice. I highly recommend him to anybody interested in wood or anybody that needs help with wood related projects.
