I made a big mistake and ordered the wrong paint, which was not inexpensive. They let me return the paint which I did not expect. Really appreciate the help!

Needed a part for an outside faucet. Dave was very friendly and helpful and spent a lot of time getting the screws unstuck and the washer out, taking the part in the back room and putting it in a vice.

Stopped by to look at a grill. Didn't see the one I wanted. Talked to someone running the paint department about them. We looked at the ones on the floor and I told him which one I was looking for. He went to the stock room and can pulling out the one that I requested - all ready assembled. Super friendly and helpful, loaded into my car also.

My local Ace hardware just recently had a remodel and it looks great and I want to shout out an associate. Derek, he's always willing to help and has good energy and great customer service.

Can’t say enough about buying local here! Always such great people and much more curtailed advice/guidance to the things you need. Derek just hooked me up with my first chainsaw, and was great to work with in the process.

Thank God that we still have the wonderful local hardware store. They are super helpful and carry exactly what you need. I never would have found what needed at the big box stores. They solved my problem for $1.49 and found the exact part I needed. The carry all sizes of screws,nails, bolts etc and you can buy them singly. If they don't have what you need, it probably doesn't exist! Thank you guys!

They have just about anything you would need for any small to large home improvement project. Service is excellent. Knowledgeable staff is quick and easy to find. Great customer to service staff ratio. They have all the little things to help with making small repairs in older homes.

Good location. Good quality products. Manure for plants is good and reasonably priced. Black and decker double buffet range is good. Home appliances like iron is available. Good brands. Excellent service.

There are usually a couple knowledgeable people on staff at the Sun Prairie location. Say what you will about the prices, but if I have a leaky washer/o-ring I gotta buy 20 at home depot for $20, i get the one i need at Ace for $1.22

Love my neighborhood hardware store! Always available are the products we need, but the knowledge to gain through the employees is invaluable, priceless. They are kind and always volunteering that wealth of information. I like to do any repairs or improvements myself, but since my Dad’s death I’ve been at a loss when it comes to personal advice. I’ve found an entire building FULL of Dads and Brothers happy and willing to lend advice and show me which products I need to follow through. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Stopped by to rent some scaffolding. Everything was ready to go when I arrived that had been reserved. Customer service was friendly and efficient. The store is very clean and well-stocked. They have quite an inventory of rental equipment. Will definitely use this place again.

Such wonderful customer service I received today, from the associate who helped me find magnetic tape to JR, the guy who saw me struggling with 2 bags of ice melt and brought them out and loaded them into my car. Good selection, prices are ok but for the convenience I'll pay them a bit more. They are always nice, friendly and courteous. There have been a few times where I needed help, they go the extra mile to make sure you get everything you need before you leave. They are also good about returns if you buy the wrong item.

Awesome help at the Sun Prairie store. Derrick is fantastic. Helped me with 4 different projects throughout the day! The whole team at this store is very talented and goes the extra mile to help!

Very helpful. I came in knew what I was looking for they had it told where to go and I was able to rent it in 10 minutes a bolt cutter. To cut my bike lock off. Well I was wrong brought it back and the service representative showed me what would work. Hacksaw. So that I was wrong about the bolt cutter was my mistake I explain what kind of bike lock I had the first time so he couldn't tell me I was wrong. But the hacksaw worked and I was riding my bike the same day!

Chris (very young man) was so helpful! He answered all my questions and was patient and professional. I came in asking about how to patch a sidewalk hole and he helped me get exactly what I needed! Thank you for making that easy!

Great service here! Dave Wagner saved me a lot of time, energy, and money. He helped me find the right tool for the job and replacement part. I plan to come back here first whenever I have a hardware need!

They have the best selection of stainless steel hardware of any hardware store I have visited to date! Awesome for the hobbyist.
