Saxonburg Heritage Wine Cellars

Saxonburg is a town oozing with charm to begin with. This winery is no exception to that. The building is an inviting, interesting wooden building with plenty of parking. Surprisingly, the very ample parking lot was all full as a class was going on, which I'm told is a monthly occurrence. The atmosphere was warm and energetic. The owners Christine and Joe, were wonderful to talk to and helpful with recommendations; of which I highly recommend the Steel City Red and Heritage Red ( one pictured ). This place is worth the trip .

They had their awesome Halloween party tonight. Tent with music outside and another party in the back room inside. Witches brew in the front room. If you weren’t there you missed a fun time so plan to be there next year.

Jill, our wine pourer, was absolutely delightful and the wine was very good as well. We enjoyed the Pinot noir based on Jill's recommendation. We had a lovely time relaxing and enjoying our wine. We will be back next time we're in town!

My fiance and I went there last night for our 'Valentines' date. Met the owners, Joe and Christine "WatchYourHouseKey' (can't spell their last name!). Met the weekly (fridays) 'VIllage People' there. The wine was great, the owners were absolutely the friendliest, nicest hosts ever, and REALLY enjoyed that place and it's atmosphere. Truly a treasure in Saxonburg!!

I took my wife on a date to have some wine and taste some local fermented grapes. We found the Saxonburg Heritage Wine Cellars and tasted all there delicious ferments. The Sommelier gave us some great options and we ended up buying four bottles, the Pinot noir, the heritage white, the flagship red and the moscato. The building was a historic site with hand hewn beams for the infrastructure inside the building. If you are in saxonburg, PA you should make it a priority to get some local wine at Heritage Wine cellars. They also have some delicious wine slushees and the flavors change daily.

Saxonburg Heritage Winery is one of favorite spots to hang out with the ladies or even go for a date night! Christine and Joe are so welcoming and helpful! The wines are tasty and if you don’t enjoy wine, they offer craft beer from a local brewery! I highly recommend this place!

This is the greatest place! Perfect for a little getaway for a date or your friends! I cannot stress how perfect it is to enjoy a glass of wine….with sooo many to sample! Definitely. Ok’ing back here again and again!

What an adorable place not to mention being in the cutest little town. Plenty of parking and extremely welcoming from the outside. I believe they have outdoor seating in the summer since I saw wrought iron furniture on the porch. I only stopped in to purchase a few bottles so I didn't get to see everything but the store front is well stocked and labeled. They also have many other wine novelties for purchase, such as tumblers, cork holders, gift bags and more. Upon entering I was greeted immediately and told if I would like to sample anything please let them know.
I ended up purchasing 7 bottles of wine which were boxed and offered to be carried to my car.
I will definitely be returning.

Picked up a few bottles last evening. We were able to sample a few before making a decision. I even got to taste the ice house wine for just a $2 fee. Usually sells for 40$ a bottle. Sorry I didn't get the name of the woman behind the counter, she was a very patient worker. Happy Birthday to me!

Joe for Heritage Wine Cellars was awesome super patient, knowledge about his product with the gernal lay person. Overall great place to pick out local wines. 100% recommend!
