This place brings me a lot on memories. The year was 1982 I had just gotten back from Vietnam. I was broke and didn’t have a job. And went from town to town doing odd jobs. Love being able to shop and save 13 minutes from Cascade Shores Nevada City. Never allow anyone or anything to steal your joy life's way too short. Godspeed.

This place is absolutely amazing! The prices are a fraction of the other stores. I am vegan and found so many awesome deals here. I highly recommend it! Run, don't walk to these stores!

I generally shop at Grocery Outlet when available. You can't beat the prices and I love their inventory. I shopped at the Grass Valley location for the first time (we are moving to the area next year and return monthly to explore and find our home). I was so impressed! Its selection was the best of any Grocery Outlet location I've been to, and I've been to many between San Diego to Everett, Wa., and many locations in between. I also used to shop at the Arizona locations in Tucson a long time ago. This store's inventory was incredible, it was well organized, clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'll be shopping here for sure when we move here.

My favorite grocery store in Nevada County. The store is clean, well organized, and very cheap. Just drive across the street to Safeway and compare prices for identical items. You will be convinced. Also the employees are efficient and helpful.

Best store in town! Ginger, and all the managers are great and friendly; the staff is the same; everyone's always smiling and happy, and joking around. The music is amazing! I get stuck in there listening to the last song finish. Al always has time to listen to my spiel. Everyone there is the best. I'd start to name them, but the list is too long! Love you all!🌹💗

Unfortunately, due to inflation, I have found shopping there is no longer a bargin. If they had a rewards program, I would potentially go back. The majority of the staff is friendly and the store is clean. Lines are typically long with every register open, so that speaks for how popular the store is. Right now, I say go there because you like it not so much to save money.

Great place to grocery shop. I don't know if she is the manager, but Sherri helped me when she saw me struggling with juggling my crying baby and groceries, not once but twice.

We always find quality items for a fraction of the cost then you would find at other stores. The Grass Valley store also has far better products than at other locations. It gets a little too busy in the middle of the day so shop early or later in the day.

Great prices that can't be beat. I always shop here first then move on to other big box stores to get what I could not find.

You get the best produce here. Great cheese assortments.

They always have great deals on things. And it's always such a nice store to go into. It's always packed with ppl, and the staff there are such a delight.

This place has amazing deals. Definitely worth coming here. I appreciate the vast selection they have. The staff is always upbeat and kind as well. I come here for my veggies, bread, wine, and I love looking for new snacks each week!

This store is clean and well organized with plenty of isle room. The prices are good and staff friendly. They're cheese selection is the best.

Grocery Outlet is the most affordable grocery store in town. The staff is friendly and efficient. They carry lots of organic & specialty foods. Shopping there can be a fun treasure hunt, but go early in the morning as the store is packed to the rafters most afternoons.

I'd recommend checking the produce carefully. It is an outlet, after all. You can get some good stuff at Grocery Outlet, but Raley's has the best produce section in Grass Valley.

Love this store! It is the main source for my groceries every week. Great variety for really reasonable prices. Great selection of organic foods and produce and affordable as well. Healthy plant selection for outside gardening most of the year. Generous wine section. Cards are always half of the normal cost....etc.
We can eat in a more healthful way because of this store being in our area.
I am very grateful and thankful for how the managers have chosen to present this Grocery Outlet.

Spice section could be more extensive; vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. Great croissants❣ There dairy section is great, I can get my Crystal cottage cheese, which is the best. Thank you!
