Natural Grocers

Love this place, little on high cost side, but the food and all other products are natural, fresh etc... oh they have gluten-free makeup. I bought some gluten-free mascara and what a difference. My eyes finally didn't itch nor bug me. The staff is friendly and helpful.

My first experience at the new location. The store is lovely, shelves well stocked, helpful and knowledgeable employees and clean restrooms. I do love my Natural Grocers...from Steamboat Springs, CO to Amarillo,Texas to WITCHITA FALLS, TX to Ft.Worth, too!

Love this place. Reasonable pricing. Many interesting novelty products and helpful staff members.

Every time I'm in Amarillo this is a place I divert to for my gluten free, environmentally friendly grocery shopping.

The only complaint if I had any would be America's obsession with sugar. Many oversweetened products which only reveal themselves on label reading. Some nasty hidden ingredients that require time to discover.

My suggestion for improvement: maybe have a cafe with organic locally sourced ingredients. Smoothies, gluten free produce are always a good choice.

I am in love with the new Natural Grocers location in Amarillo! It has been a long time coming. The street side sign proclaims “Organic Produce,” and this is the best part, hands down. While other Amarillo grocers have nominal organic produce, Natural Grocers nails it.

Even more, their produce selection is better than everyone else even without the organics, because of the emphasis on the unusual. Think pomegranates, figs, persimmons, celery root, turmeric root, every color of potatoes and carrots imaginable, heirloom tomatoes, and more.

There’s much more than that, of course, with a greatly expanded frozen foods section, as well as packaged goods. Promo deals on selected items ($4.99 for a 12-ounce bag of Nicaraguan whole-bean coffee?!?!) are better than any mainstream grocer.

To be fair, eating organic comes typically comes with a price, but their prices are fair for what you get. 

Hell, someone should be paying us to eat all those chemical-laced, GMO creations of Big Food.
All told, Amarillo finally has the healthy grocery alternative we have long needed. The previous store was just too small to get the job done adequately, but with the new location on 58th, I know I will be coming back soon.

The manager Dev was awesome with helping me with my purchase. This place is full of everything you need. I will definitely be back!

I was passing through Amarillo and needed something to get natural relief from a tension headache. The staff there were very kind, knowledgeable and informative of which products would be best for me. they had a huge selection of herbs and supplements, which was well organized and easy to find what you need. they even had a book about natural remedies that you could look through to be able to learn more about the products you're considering buying.
overall, customer service was excellent, prices were very reasonable for the large selection of products that they offer.
highly recommended if you're looking for affordable, natural foods or supplements.

The new store is BEAUTIFUL!!! VERY spacious with a nice layout, TONS of new products, new refrigation areas with doors now to keep the cold air in, cold drinks on hand now and as well as some quick meal ideas, 5 registers instead of 4, classroom area with classes weekly, and an expanded health, beauty, and body care area!! If you enjoyed the previous location, you will LOVE the new location!! Check them out!!!

Updating previous post. Natural Grocers has moved to a new, larger location. Their are still certain vitamins and supplements I only find here. The new location is not as convenient to us as the old one so we don't use it as often.

We were looking for dairy free coffee creamer and found this location. We found what we were looking for plus much more. The produce was very fresh and the store was very clean and laid out nicely. The staff was super friendly. Would recommend! Remember to bring a bag!

Words cannot express how much I love this store. Every time I come in I just want to buy everything in it. It’s a little pricey, but shopping for select natural foods and meal planning helps keep it within my budget. The staff are always super helpful, and I love the resources available in the catalogs and books. I have slowly been transitioning to a vegetarian/plant-based diet, and this store always helps me feel more confident in doing so. Love love love.

They have a wide variety of vitamins and supplements, for men and women. They also carry good salves and lotions, for cracking hands, different kinds of bath salts, skin care products and lip balms. There are more items, but that gives an idea. I haven't purchased, due to distance from home, but they have a wide selection of organic and health foods. The staff knows where everything is, in the store and can take you right to whatever it is your looking for. They are also VERY knowledgeable about the different products carried. Each staff member I have talked too, could answer any question I asked. Impressingly enough, I have never seen an employee with their cell phone or using one. They stay engaged in stocking, helping customers and keeping store clean. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this store.
Bring your own bags, to carry home your products and groceries. They do not use paper or plastic bags.. They do sell reusable bags for your purchase(s), that are reasonably priced. They work good for other things once you get home. They do have boxes you can use, however, that are free for you to carry out your purchase.

I was just passing by and needed some cheese to make a sandwich. This placed showed up in search and guessing from the name, I went inside the town. I loved this store. Their store brand cheese is so rich. They do have many Indian items. Some unique items as well. On the way back, I detoured here from I -40. People working were so friendly and nice. I enjoyed shopping here.
