Bravo Italiano Caffè 42

Unexpectedly, Bravo Italiano was open today to our pleasure. The owner, Steve was so laid back and into some sampling and discussion about regional tastes of Italy. We spent the better part of an hour hanging out and visiting. Tasting various cheeses, olive oils and balsamic vinegars. His description of each was spot on and the variety was superb. There’s all kinds of different sauces, pasta, snacks and goodies. Not to forget that he has an espresso machine ready to go for an awesome caffè. But I think his pride shows when he gets into his oils, cheese and balsamic. Almost forgot, he’s got a couple of homemade Pesto sauces that are awesome and some “come dolce” as well. Definitely recommend hitting Bravo Italiano if your near Central City or Black Hawk.

Steve is very out going, personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. The samples are heavenly. I bought some Italian cookies 🍪 can’t wait to try them! Next time gelato and espresso will be my treat 😋🇮🇹

Steve was the most delightful person ever. I walked in the store and as soon as he saw me he said you want to try some cheese? And then he proceeded to let me try amazing olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and more! I obviously spent more than I meant to, but I have no regrets!

My husband and I randomly found this place last week on a short stop in Central City, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Steve offered us a taste test of so many wonderful olive oils, balsamics, spreads, and cheeses. Everything was top shelf! The shop itself is so charming and Steve was just delightful. We recommend a stop here for a coffee and a great experience any time you’re nearby!

What a delightful gem! From the welcoming demeanor of Steve, to the vast amount of hospitality and knowledge, I am awestruck that I stumbled across this perfect Italian market on Eureka Street. I loved my cappuccino, the samples of pesto, olive oils, and balsamic vinegars. What an adventure!

My friends and I wandered in here a couple weeks ago and were so pleased with the service! Steve is warm and friendly and made our day with fresh coffee and an exquisite olive oil and vinaigrette tasting. Everything was delicious! The shop offers a great variety of goods and the homemade pesto in particular was incredible! I brought some home and have loved it. We were so happy to stop in and certainly will be back again.

One of the best experiences I’ve had!!! The wonderful gentleman offered me and my family a one of a kind taste trial, we tried truffle popcorn, Truffle cheese, and so many more amazing foods from Italy, if you have a chance to stop by please do!! 10/10 Amazing experience!!

This place is the real deal. And you don't have to be Italian to talk with your hands. A piece of Little Italy right in the Rocky Mountains. Best coffee and Elvis on the Stereo. Class act.

Never in my life would have tried olive oil or balsamic oil tastings, pistachio or honey spreads, or pesto sauces tasting.

We were in the area for a gallery opening when we noticed the shop and walked in to find the owner and another couple in a tasting of fine olive oils and aged Balsamic vinegars. We were invited right in and enjoyed the owner's expertise on everything in the tasting. I left with a bag full of the best Italian products, just delicious oils, vinegars, pasta (both dried and frozen), pestos of different flavors, and more. Since we live about 30 minutes away (luckily), we are driving over, today, to restock! SO worth your regular visits!

What a wonderful find! Visiting from the New York City area, and happened upon this fantastic Italian market. Quality of the food is exceptional, and the owner (Stephen) is warm and generous! Will definitely come back whenever in Colorado:-)

The owner gave us a private olive oil and balsamic tasting. It was such a fun experience and done simply because he enjoys people walking in his store. This is a must stop in Central City - you feel like you’re in a European store with some of the most amazing flavors available. While there, I’m sure you’re find something you can take with you for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for a friend.

Must stop in and visit if you’re in the area. I left with so much knowledge and feeling more inspired to cook than ever before.

What a wonderful unexpected find! The owner was so gracious and personable. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about everything in his shop. Authentic unique Italian products. We were able to sample various items to help us know what we might like. We bought several things and will be back for sure. What a great shop!

Steve is very friendly and knowledgeable. He loves to share his products with new customers. Planned a trip to include time to visit Central City and very glad I visited his shop. Because of him I like a lot of new things now. Can't wait to get my next list of things from him :)

First time here. Was met with welcoming faces. Got a cappuccino with sugar it was some of the best coffee I've had. I was offered some sample of their balsamic vinegars, olive oils and honey butter. Absolutely delicious! They're so friendly and welcoming. I'm visiting from out of state and will absolutely be coming back when I come to visit again. If you're searching for something you can't get anywhere else. You HAVE to stop here!

Stumbled in here from out of town. What a blessing. One of a kind place! So welcoming and a great place to sit and chat and have a coffee or two. Loved the Italian variety. Steve is awesome, providing samples of some wonderful balsamic vinaigrette! What a gem!!!!
