transfer. I recently took the Wear & Carry certification and would recommend them to anyone. Carl is a great instructor! Looking forward to our next purchase from them!

Took my Maryland wear and carry class through the shop. Carl was a fantastic instructor. Learned a ton of information that I had not known. Range day was extremely safe and done well by both Carl and Jeff! Highly recommend the small class sizes making it much more personal and interactive.

Always make Clear Spring Gun Shop your first stop before buying any firearm! I have purchased firearms, transferred firearms, purchased accessories and all of my experiences have been great ones. It's always nice to walk through the front door of the small shop and get a personal greeting and hello. Jeff and Jeremy have always provided me and my family with excellent, top notch personalized customer service. Pricing is extremely competitive and fair and they have a great selection for such a small shop. If they don't have it in stock they always work their magic to get it for you quickly and at a great price. You can tell they are in the business because they love what they do and not to try and take advantage of anyone. They have surely made a lifetime customer out of me. My only regret is that I didn't discover the shop sooner since it is only a couple miles from my home. It's always nice to stop in to visit and they are glad to see you even if you aren't there intending to buy something that day. I can't say that for any of the other gun shops in the area that brush you off and act as it you are bothering them if they know you aren't going to buy. You will never get that here! Top notch and first class all the way and I highly recommend this shop for all of your firearm needs...

I ordered and paid for an unregulated firearm online that they had in stock. I went in the next day to pick it up, filled out the 4473 form and chatted with the guys for about 5-10 minutes while waiting. Very nice and knowledgeable guys, very friendly. Jeff and Mike were great to deal with and the store has convenient evening hours for those that work late. Website has real-time online store showing availability of items and associated prices. Jeff gives his best price offer up front regardless of payment method which is nice.

This is the best gun shop around. Don’t let the size of the shop fool you. I have taken the hql class and purchased several hand guns and a shot gun from this store. I will not buy firearms from anywhere else. Every staff member is amazing. They help you out start to finish. They will answer any questions you have. Their prices are unbeatable on guns and ammo. Do yourself a favor and go here. If they don’t have it, they will get it.

I was shopping for a firearm that was new to the market and difficult to find. The staff was able to locate the the desired firearm in a very timely manner. I was able to purchase the exact firearm that I wanted at a very competitive price. They even had accessories on hand for the firearm that I purchased. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I had a very pleasant experience doing business with the Clear Spring Gun Shop.

I just found this shop a few months ago and I love it. They try to keep a good selection of guns in stock and are very knowledgeable. My wife took her HQL class here and they helped her find a gun that she absolutely loves. They even have a nice selection black rifle coffee. I'm so glad I found this shop.

Best place around by far. I was in the market for a new gun to add my collection. I did some research over the last few months and settled on some nice choices. I originally went to the Machine Gun Nest, down in Frederick. However, after walking around aimlessly for 15 minutes with not a single employee talking to me or asking if they could help me, I left. The sad part is I’ve been here before but I dislike doing someone else’s job by begging them to take my money.

I then looked up Clear Spring and went there right after. Night and day difference. Mike helped me, even showing me different things that I didn’t know. Worked with me, letting me see basically anything I wanted and recommending different things.

I ended up buying a gun plus extras that same day. I will be returning there from now on. Mike talks to me like a person and will help anyone out. Highly recommend this shop and highly suggest you not go to Machine Gun Nest.

Very knowledgeable staff and who stay up to date on the gun laws. Jeff is a big help if you have any questions about any type of firearm. Prices are very reasonable and there's always a weekly deal to take advantage of.

This shop is very knowledgeable, and him and his staff is very friendly towards his customers. If he doesn’t have a special order in stock, he is able to find it, and order it.

I took my late father's rifle to them. I wanted to get it cleaned up, it had been sitting in a paint shop uncovered for the past five years and before that stuffed in a closet for many years. It was covered in paint specks and had dust and powder build up all over. The scope was hazy and covered in paint and dust as well. I got it back today and could not be happier with the job they did. The rifle was spotless, inside and out. The wood stock shines like it was the 70's. The scope is clear like new. You can tell he took the time to get it right. Thank you, it meant alot to see it the way I remember. They have my business.

Friendly people family own. Take there time to talk to you explain any questions you may have. Great selection can order you anything that is out there for fair price AND LEGAL FOR THE MD STATE. Visit them you have nothing to lose. Also provide lessons and coerces.
