First off I want to say this is the best Winn-Dixie I have ever been to in my life store is clean food is Fresh and the cashier's are awesome always smiling always ask how are day went patient and kind and fast. I love this store and will become a regular also the prices are great. P.s. and please reward the cashier's every single time I go they put a smile on my face ☺

This Winn-Dixie review is updated from one that I posted about 3 years ago when I said way too expensive and I’d rather go to Walmart. Well I gave Winn-Dixie another go and I am impressed! The cash back rewards are amazing! I used my points and got $20 off of my entire purchase! They are by far, the only supermarket I’ve been to that always has meat and poultry on BOGO! And so now I’m Winn-ing!! Are you Winn-ing?!

I visited Windixe today with the intention of getting something to suprise my wife with a nice home-cooked meal. I received exceptional assistance from Daylin, a young lady from the meat section that went above and beyond in helping me out. She enthusiastically suggested pairing shrimp with the meat I had chosen and even directed me towards some delicious rubs that could enhance the flavor. Daylin's knowledge and helpfulness and the way she treated me made my shopping experience truly enjoyable. I highly appreciate her expertise and would definitely recommend seeking her assistance during your visit to this Windixe.

Near to me grocery store. Always quick in and out. The staff is always very helpful as well as courteous. Good produce, bakery, deli and meat departments.

Of all the grocery stores available in SWFL this is my favorite. Great prices ( often cheaper than walmart) staff is friendly and shelves always stocked. And if you have the Winn Dixie card the savings on meats can be amazing.

Hi! I went to your store tonight and I encountered 2 of the best employees ever! The first name is Zaria. She was so kind and nice to me, very professional. It’s been a hard time for my family. My boyfriend’s son just passed away like 2 weeks ago. Her smiling face, you can tell she really cares about us customers. Please give her a raise and please tell her, I’m doing this review on her. She really touched my heart with her kindness. She’s an asset to your facility. The 2nd person I want to do a review on is Jacob. He came up to me and asked me if I needed help putting my groceries away. He was so kind and professional too. Thank you for having amazing employees. I can't be grateful enough, I had a stroke a few years back which affects my memory, so most times I talk to myself to try to remember and people tend to stare, I was having issues locating something in the store I know I've seen and audibly said to myself "well that's not gonna work". Mike, who was working in the dairy/cheese isle answered me happily with "whatcha lookin for thatll work?" I was honestly surprised so I explained what I was looking for and said "let's go on a scavenger hunt, I know what you're looking for let's find it. And thank God for him we did! We talked about our kids and our struggle with our teens and made what normally for me is an anxiety trip to the store very pleasurable and easy. My daughter as well as my self thanks you so much! I did speak to a manager on the way out to let them know I was thankful and he too thanked me just for sharing. !!

Tha bacon cheese fries were awesome btw!! Lol

Amazing grocery store! Great supplies,prices, helpful service, an I love the BOGO, bonus points and all Winn Dixie does to help provide necessary groceries. I’ m definitely going to try their online shopping!!!

I love this place over Publix and Walmart

I really liked going in there for the deli counter they have a lot of choices they also have this little Chinese counter with a couple choices of sweet meat that is pretty impressive I have to say it's much easier than waiting 2 hours to get Chinese from some other place.

Always clean & the clerks are courteous. Love to shop there.

Edit: Since their remodel all staff have been helpful. Seems they have been hiring better employees or have had them properly trained. Lately every experience there is great. I shop here all the time and employees are happy to help. Have nothing but great things to say. Change from 4 stars to 5. My favorite Winn Dixie in Fort Myers.

I like coming here rather than Publix because Winn Dixie seems to have a fresher/better looking meat selection. The main thing is their customer service is terrible here, be prepared to not ask employees any questions for they never know the answer, or do not offer help. When checking out it is obvious that they are understaffed as they usually only have 3 registers open with lines of 5-7 customers in each creating a crowded check out area. Only because I don't want them to shut down I will continue to shop here they do have good sales and the liquor store employees are actually very helpful and friendly. It's a good place to shop on your own and not be bothered.

I love this store because they have competitive prices, they carry hard to find items & will special order anything you ask them to & the staff are always so friendly & helpful!!

Winn-Dixie is a little pricey on some things but meat is cheaper especially all the BOGO Free meat items and With card meat items.

WOW what a difference Winn-Dixie has made! Clean store. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good selection and sales. They even do rain checks on some items. I went ahead and got a rewards card as I do intend to stop in more frequently. Grabbed the BBQ Rotisserie Chicken and Loaded Potato Salad. 😋
