Great food! They even let us taste things before deciding. They were open on Christmas which saved our lives.

Love the convenience and selection. The meat is amazing and the made to order food I’ve tried has all been delicious.

Their salsa and guacamole are great, and we love their meats...especially their chorizo. The girls at the registers are always friendly. Nice little addition to our neighborhood.

I've been to this store for groceries but today was first time having lunch at La Vakita Market. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the cafe area. I ordered 3 birria tacos. Soon enough my order was ready and I was happy I ordered this for lunch. The birria was quality meat, and the tortillia was perfect size / softness.

Staff were friendly throughout the market / restuarant.

Next time I come to La Vakita I'll try a breakfast.

The first time experience was 100% positive.

This place is great to get hot sauces straight from across the border. I got a Carne Asada torta and it was one of the best I've ever had.

You order the food deli style and they cook it right in front of you. There usually isn't a wait and if there was, it would be worth it.

Great place to stop by if you're on your way to Old Tucson or the desert museum or you just find yourself out here.

Extremely clean the staff are really helpful and the food is really good there is shrimp ceviche quesabirriataco carne asada taco and much more come and try their new raspados lemonade horchata Tamarindo freshwater's

We found this place in April and had their Chile Relleno and Al Pastor burrito. Both were outstanding! The beans served as a side dish are really tasty and the portions were good size. Nice lady behind the counter was helpful. Great find, try it, you won't be disappointed. We know a place is good when local work force is eating there.

Very nicely stocked little grocery store. The meat looked fresh, there was a lot of nice produce to choose from, and they have prepared food for takeout as well. We bought some tamales that were superb. We will be making this place a regular stop. I think my favorite part of our visit was how good it smelled in there. That isn't always the case with carnecerias, but this place smells super clean.

I am so pleased to have found this market. The meats are wonderful. I have bought the chicken that is marinated in spices. I can't tell you what spices, but I have bar-b-queued them and baked them and always comes out delicious. So happy they have some produce as well. dairy products are fresh. I bought the fresh sour cream for tortilla soup and wow, so good. Their refried beans are delicious. Authentic Mexican products, very clean store. Love to support local businesses!

Wow! Just got back to AZ, found this new little gem. If you like authentic Mexican cuisine and groceries this is the place. Ordered a breakfast burrito, and it was wonderful! I'm sure we will stop by often. They have all your basics too, eggs, milk, etc.

Great little Mexican place! Its a bit of a drive for me, but when you're in the neighborhood? They have some of the best (and best priced) burritos you can find! The staff are friendly and welcoming, the Carne Seca tastes like somebody's nana home cooked it! Used to be Tina's Country Market, and before that it was another place, but the current owners are doing a great job! Great place to go if you're looking for Mexican candies too, and they now have a Chile roaster outside too! Definitely recommend if you're looking for an authentic Mexi-Tucson experience!

So happy to have them out here. Food is delicious store is very clean and is well stocked. They will definitely be my go to place. Rather support local then big box when I can. My only issue was they weren't that friendly only one smiled said hello was the Butcher. Maybe my first visit was on an off day. We all have them 😐

fantastic meat counter! Saturday & Sundays: Pick out your favorite steak, pay, step outside and have the master chef grill to your specs! last night i opted for a rib eye while my man had a Tbone! Delicious!

Great market with butcher available. Produce is fresh and clean. Carne Seca always available along with pickled food (I like their pigs feet). Excellent hot foods--stews, tacos, big breakfast burros done your way if you ask. Very professional staff and customer service service...se habla inglés y spanish. Clean market with good selection of canned stuff, Mexican breads and cookies. Menudo is good.

The family who owns this little market are so nice. They awesome Hot food cooked 2go just for you. Their meat's always look amazing I buy my carne asada here whenever we have it YUMMY! THANK YOU

We live in Tucson Estates and had been hoping for a place like this. When La Vakita arrived we were thrilled. Finally a store with fresh veggies and meat. Positively love this place!

Wowsa! What find for hungry campers. A breakfast burrito big enough for two cooked fresh by the Señora and a cauldron of sumptuous Mexican hot chocolate. Great grocery store too.

Great Burritos! My family and I ate here twice while on vacation. The employees are kind and helpful and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend.
