There is an incredible selection of everything you could possibly need for Outdoors, Sporting and Firearms.
You are not rushed to hurry up and buy. The staff is willing to answer all of your questions to assure that you are comfortable with what you are getting.
Prices are fantastic.
Basically in my opinion, if you cannot find it at Davis you don't need it.

Tiffany, Giancarlo, and the entire team are outstanding. They take the time and effort to make sure your experience at Davis is exceptional.

Communication via phone is top-notch. They return calls promptly and answer all questions and concerns completely.

The in-store experience is even better. They consistently show that they value their customers, and that their goal is the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Highly recommended. Tifanny and staff helped process my FFL transfer with no issues. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They are familiar with NYC firearm registration protocols if need be. Best venue for hunting and fishing supplies in the area.

Great place to get all your hunting,fishing and outdoors equipment. These guys are all in. Love the other locations shooting range and shop also. I will always spend a little more and support a business like Davis sport shop. Wayne personally gave me some shooting tips at the range one day. Great to see an owner in the trenches with his crew helping the sport. Thanks guys

I was recommended by a friend, so I bought my very first gun at Davis, Ruger Mini 14. Price was very fair, on par with the cheapest you could find on the internet. I told them straight out it was my first gun. Tiffany (the owner) and her employees were EXTREMELY helpful and understanding. Made me feel right at home, like my best friend was helping me. Pointed me in the exact direction I wanted to go. I had originally went in for for a shotgun, but so glad, after our conversations, that I went for a semi auto. As a NYC resident, it’s the closest you can get to an AR. I wouldn’t had been able to participate in matches at my range on Staten Island with just a shotgun, which is what you need to become a member with a key. Matches are only with rifles or pistols. If for some reason anyone, like the commenters before, had an issue at the store or with a purchase, it’s because of the myriad of laws they have to deal with. TRUST ME, this a a damn great firearm and sports dealer. They have EVERYTHING. I was like a kid in a candy store there.

Great store with lots of inventory....they are a bit expensive and the staff could be a bit more friendly. Although the young man at the register could not have been nicer!

We have been customers since the 90s, in the old store. Always an excellent experience. Plenty of options.

What a great store. Lots of inventory reasonable prices excellent advice.

Good customer service. Actually had some ammo and firearms in stock. Not like here in Jersey. Excellent selection of accessories as well. I will return for sure. Couple tips. It didn't bother me , I wore a mask but some employees don't. If that bothers you it could be an issue. And definitely don't wear your Biden/Harris t shirt when go there. Good group of people work there.

All their Trump flags are on sale.
They didn't have any other politicians flags. Just in case you're in the mood for purchasing campaign flags, know that the only option is Trump 2020, so if you're interested, check them out.

A great variety of products for outdoor activities; fishing, camping, hunting, survival equipment, just to name a few.

The staff knows their guns and we're very helpful with answering a few questions that my friend had.

Pretty good prices and very friendly staff, pretty busy, as well. It was a Sunday and it was good business.

Excellent sports shop with a staff that is second to none. They’re extremely helpful, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and safe. Their staff is truly one of their biggest assets. Beyond that they have an extensive selection of all types of camping gear, fishing gear, hunting gear, firearms, targets etc... Everything is fairly priced. I could spend all day shopping in this store. It’s always a first stop on our way to go fishing.

Went to purchase a hand gun yesterday. Even with COVID, Davis Sports Shop was fully stocked with a large handgun selection. I dealt with Tiffany who was extremely helpful with any questions I had. I've visited them in the past, mostly for fishing licenses and live bate. I went there recently to purchase a firearm which they didnt have in stock. But the gentleman was more than happy to find it and order it for me... I was made to feel welcome, my questions answered and left feeling pretty good about the transaction. They've earned themselves a future regular customer. Fair prices and expert knowledge for all your sportsman needs

The best in the business! Bought my used gun from there. Very good price. The most knowledgeable staff I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. My family has been using Davis since the 1980's! They are the real deal.

Excellent sports shop that seems to have everything for the sportsman/ woman. I always stop in to pick up my fishing supplies on the way to fish the lakes in Harriman State Park. The staff is professional, courteous & fast. Prices are reasonable. Their advice for fishing/ hunting activities is spot on. I'm glad they're around & hope they stay around!
