I visited the shop on Chanuka. The donut display was nothing short of astonishing. Never before have I seen such a variety of flavors! The store employee was wonderfully patient and friendly, sincerely trying to help every single customer as best as he could. He really made the shopping experience so pleasant. Oh, and the Irish-bourbon-flavored donut was a complete mouthful of delicious. Please do not EVER change the recipe. Ever.

Spacious, very well lit, amazing and large selection of products, the best customer service representatives, great pizza joint, delicious meat deli with full selection of hot food. Would highly recommend.

I recently visited The Hive and it exceeded my expectations in every way! The wide aisles, low shelves, and the abundance of windows and natural sunlight created a bright and refreshing atmosphere. Pick your prepared food carefully. Extremely salty. Chef has a heavy hand on the salt. Baked ziti is sweet. You are not supposed to add sugar to baked ziti. They don't know how to prepare deli roast beef. Don't have it for slicing. Corned beef is very salty. Unfortunately, Chassidim don't know how to cater American food. Pizza is good. Falafel, not good. stale pita. Complete supermarket. Lots of shelf stable items.

Their produce and grocery are par excellence. They have a good selection in their dairy section. Being a vegetarian, I can't speak as to the fish and meat departments. Friendly people all around and I love the self-checkout lanes.

If I have a complaint, it is The Kosher Hive doesn't have plain red beet salad (no horseradish). Also, how a business can be open without an active website puzzles me.

I have and will continue to visit the Kosher Hive.
