Very friendly & great conversation. Found accidentally, but a great place. Fanciest "liquor store" I've ever been to! All around great feeling! Cool, chill vibe for those that want to lounge out. Kind of a one stop shop-they also have cigars.

What an excellent store! I’m a big mezcal, scotch and whiskey guy and Lakeside has it all!! Highly recommend this store - it has a vast selection and great prices. The owner Sam is also very knowledgeable about wine and spirits and equally kind…he will take great care of you and make sure you leave with everything you need!

Shout out to Lakeside Beverages here in our local Granite Bay community. My wife and I visited this location for the first time after living in the area for the past few years. I thought this was another liquor store until we walked in. We were greeted immediately by the owner Sam, he was very kind and could tell it was our first time in.

Little did we know we came on a Friday and it was a tasting event day. Lakeside Beverages does events on the weekend and they have delightful wines and products. I was shocked with how many high end rare choices they have and how knowledgeable Sam is about the entire process and his products. If you are looking for an amazing place to visit and have a nice time over the weekend, or looking for a great place to grab drinks on the way to the Lake. Stop here and talk with Sam, you will not be disappointed.

This place has an amazing wine/tasting bar with a selection that is unbeatable! The whiskey tasting had us so impressed we walked away purchasing two bottles of the finest! The owner, Sam is the man! We are new locals and we just found our new favorite go to place for a weekend outing, full of great conversation, fantastic palette pleasing delights, friends and fun!

It's a true blessing to have Lamya and Sam in our lives! They are a hardworking couple with big hearts and a lovely family! Yesterday evening we, once again, got the chance to sit and talk with them over a shared drink with friends and had a great time!

I cannot say more amazing things about this place. Not only are the wines beautifully presented but the options are endless and taste is exquisite. The variety of wines, whiskey, and beer given with the knowledge behind it, is worth every penny and completely a one of a kind experience to have.

So I must admit that I often forget about this establishment, even though it is only a couple of miles from where I lived when I first moved to CA. I actually work in the local wine industry and this place never disappoints. They have an eclectic selection of wines, their mark up is minimal and I often find a random bottle that exceeds my expectations.

Great craft beer, wine and liquor selection. Nice, tidy and clean store. Love that they have a "tasting room" and bar on site.

Absolutely LOVE this place! There is a huge selection of delicious wines and spirits. The owner, Sam, is an incredible host and makes you feel just like family! Sam and Joshua were professional and made the shopping experience fun. They’re definitely passionate about the business, humble and enjoy teaching others. They do tastings and you can order food from the Italian restaurant next door.

Sam is immensely knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I know I can always count on Lakeside to have something interesting and to educate me a little along the way. Unique among wine and spirit stores is the bar and lounge, which lends a more personal feel to the store and invites you to spend some time enjoying their hospitality.

Met with another couple last evening to do some whiskey tastings. Sam, the owner gave us an excellent and informative experience. I think I know more than most about single malt scotch, but nothing like the insights and education Sam provided. Tell him what price range and product you want to try and he'll take you right there. I felt like we visited him in his home. Even my wife, who DOES NOT drink whiskey took part and had a really run and informative time.

Lakeside beverages has been in business for 35 years. Sam and Lamya are absolutely wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have great prices on wine and rare spirits. Their prices on wine are amazing. When the pandemic is over they have wine tastings on Friday and Saturday night. It’s a great place to discover new wine. Love them.

Sam, the owner, is phenomenal. He recognizes his clientele, caters to their unique needs, and provides an environment that supersedes expectation. This isn’t just a liquor store, it’s a wine taste experience.
