1502 Fabrics

I could not be more appreciative of the kind and helpful service I received! I live in Texas and had been searching for a companion upholstery for a sofa I had recovered several years ago. I found one on their website that looked ideal, but wanted to be sure that the two fabrics would compliment each other. I called 1502 Fabrics and the precious girl I spoke with not only confirmed the colors, she placed a sample of the new fabric on a bolt of the original fabric and took pictures for me in the warehouse! I ordered the fabric, which arrived very quickly, and it was perfect! Thank you for making this process so easy and pleasant.

Wow, fantastic selection. Last time I was here was in 1982. I was impressed then and even more impressed this time. Great prices and great selection of decorating fabrics. They have online shopping as well. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Store is well lit and clean. Plenty of parking.

I have shopped here for over 10 years. The staff are always extremely helpful, the selection is awesome, and the price per yard is the lowest in the state. My friends are shocked when they see my beautiful curtains and bedspreads and learn the price for them.

TONS of beautiful fabrics and very reasonable prices. The discounted fabrics aisle at the back of the store was larger and had more selection than any I've ever seen. The staff was helpful AND the entire store is air-conditioned for the customer's comfort, unlike many large fabric stores. Will most definitely be a repeat customer!

I walked in and was immediately greeted by staff. The selection of fabrics are great and the layout is intuitive! The design service from the ladies was excellent and they took their time to help me. They have impeccable taste. I definitely recommend coming here!

Great selection of reasonably priced fabrics. We couldn't find what we were looking for in Raleigh or Wake Forest so we made the 1.5 hour drive to Hickory. We're glad we made the trip and returned home with the fabric we had been looking for.

I am not much of a fabric guy but I was looking for some exterior furniture fabric and went to see what they had. Nice selection and good prices. What really shined was the friendly staff. I like this place.

SO glad I went here for fabric! Needing to get fabric to recover a 9' couch, I headed to 1502. Once in the door, I was instructed that everything is by color, so in that direction I headed. Once there, I found some things that I was fond of, but nothing that particular made my heart flutter. I asked for a bit of help and some guidance on the 2 items I had selected. When I described the couch and environment, she said, "oh, well have have some really durable items in the back". We went to the back and what a wonderful find! There are items there that are primarily made of recycled materials and almost indestructible! Our staff person was so very patient and offered swatches so I could take them out into the sun to see them in a different light and waited patiently for me to decide....it took a minute. I ultimately made a decision and my couch is beautiful! Thank you 1502!

Love, Love this store. This is one of the few fabric stores available in NC. EXTREAMILY LARGE SELECTION of QUALITY FABRICS. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, good clearance section. Resourceful staff, they know just about where to find ANYTHING you describe in their store. If the merchandise is not available, the staff checks at the Winston-Salem store to see if it's available and or will attempt to order it for you. I drive from Charlotte, NC up to this store regularly. This store reminds me of an "UP SCALE VERSION" OF CLOTH WORLD in Charlotte, NC during the 1970's AND THE DURA LEE Discount fabric center on LONG ISLAND, NY. Great store and staff.

My husband & I had wonderful / blessed experience w/the owner Corrine (Tubby )on 2day. I thank God 4 her up beat spirit & energy. She is and was a blessing 2 us & the Forestville church family.

My mom and I went to the store yesterday in search of fabric that we needed more of. We had been searching for awhile and they had it! We also were looking for other fabrics and they were very helpful. Nice selection. We will be back!

The customer service was amazing. Everyone took their time trying to help me find exactly what i was looking for, cutting me samples, and showing me around. I will definitely be going back when it's time to redecorate again!

I went in for some specific fabric and had a great experience. 1502 still has that family atmosphere that I appreciate, especially now a days. It's hard to find a local place that cares about doing business in their community.

If you love fabric this is your place. Upholstery fabric is plenty. If you're wanting fabric to make clothes not your kind of store. They do have some things but it is mostly large print solid color nice upholstery fabric. I found exactly what I was looking for.

I needed help finding some fabric for some curtains I was making. I don't remember who assisted me, but the staff was happy to help. Couldn't recommend enough.
