ROOTED: a fair trade store

My boyfriend & I came to the store from out of town (I had searched local shops before we went to Manhattan to support local and this was a “must see.”) The person working there was so kind & lovely. The selection of fair trade items was great! I was able to buy some handmade cards to support my hobby of writing to the elderly & I got a candle for my boyfriend because he said it was just like how he remembered his late grandmother’s house smelling. This is a great shop & I love what it stands for.

My wife purchased a beautiful Christmas tree skirt made from old saris. It's absolutely beautiful, and the fine people at Rooted even enclosed a hand-written thank-you note. A very nice touch-a small gesture that means a lot.

This is a sweet little shop with many useful and beautiful products. It's fun just to browse around the store. Has great coffee and the throws made of recycled sari's from India are truly gorgeous. Fantastic jewelry and clothing, as well as many things for kids. Everything is hand-made by native artisans who receive a fair price for their products.

Was great! had a lot of cool off the wall things and it felt really nice shopping at a place that supports the little guy, will be back, there spices are amazing!

This fair trade store is incredible and the staff is extremely nice and incredibly informative with the products the sell. I go there for their coffee and chocolate as I've never had anything as good as their products
