My wife and I love going here from time to time, and I recommend trying the cow tongue on a torta; it's amazing! We always enjoy a good meal together here when we visit, and always get stuff from the store side of it for the ride home/ house. We love the remodel of the place it looks awesome, and the staff are very kind, caring, and attentative.

This is by far the best authentic Latin food that I have ever had. I've had at least 100 different Tortas from 100 different latin restaurants and theirs is the best by far. I've never had a Torta this good #1 by far. Thank you

Awesome food! Great prices, reminds me of authentic Mexican food from the San Ysidro/Otay Mesa area south of San Diego. Very quick, and friendly service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an out of the way spot to get some great food!

My husband and I were just passing through and found this sweet little jem. The market had all the supplies,spices, meats and candies needed to make/enjoy Mexican food. We ordered carnitas tacos and a Carne asada burrito. YUM!! We recently moved here from CA and it's been impossible to find decent Mexican food. This taqueria was by far one of the best places we've ever eaten at. The corn and flour tortillas are both handmade making the quality of our food so enjoyable. We will definitely be back even though we live 1 hour away!

Try the butcher shop in the back of the store as well. The deli chorizo is great.

Excellent and traditional Mexican foods. My favorite is the homemade chorizo. I buy some every time we visit. Also bought some flan from the fridge. $3 for a generous slice. Tasty!

This is THE BEST authentic mexican restaurant I have been to. The people are nice and check up on you regularly, they get your orders right, and they have reasonable prices. Will definitely go again!!

If you are looking for really great Mexican food without the fancy, this is the place. Very family oriented, excellent meat selection for the grill and seasonings you can't find anywhere else. Did I mention the bakery!?.. small but delicious, just pick something and try it. Today I had a big order... Special Tacos some with chicken and charizo mixed and some with steak. Steak is awesome, chicken was lite and clean, charizo is good not too spicy hot ( I will get jalapeno side cup for .25 next time). Burritos, had a pork and a steak ( both with all toppings). They are huge and very good ( the steak was my favorite again ). We had empanadas, some steak and some chicken. They were great and better with a little Valentino hot sauce ($1.99!, Find it in the store while you wait). The guacamole is chunky, fresh and amazing (don't forget to grab a bag of chips if getting it to go).. I also had a cheesy chicken dinner plate for the kiddo ( he killed it! ). ..... So, in short, it isn't fancy but really good. Prices are cheap too (60 for all that and a bunch of drinks). This was all "to go" and could have fed 8 adults easily. If were living here this would be a regular stop, I would have to try the marinaid selection and meats for the grill ( literally half what you pay at the grocery ). It is also way way better quality food and food presentation than 1800 on the other side if town. The folks were very friendly and they will let you try stuff if you just ask, live a little.

This place is a hidden Gem. The food is SO good and the Chicken Quesadilla is my fav. Can't wait until the remodel is complete.

This was the best taco my husband has had since the last time he was in Tijuana. He tried carnitas and carne asada. The carne asada was perfection. He also ordered a tamale. Wow. I ordered the lengua quesadilla. The tortilla was fresh. The lengua was moist and punchy with flavor. Honestly, the lettuce with tomato, crema, cheese, and avocado.

Really, strongly and emphatically recommend this place.

I love this supermercado. BestMexican bakery, the only donuts that I will eat. They have fresh meats. Good cheeses, some vegetables & an authentic cafe.
