I bought a gift here for my boyfriend. The man who was running things made me laugh many times as I weighed what to buy. Then it turned out he did not work there…but the woman who did found the whole thing to be hysterical. I had to explain, “but he just…knew so much about these chairs.” Highly recommended!!

You must make this the first stop when heading out Route 50 to all the wineries for the day. Wally is brilliant at hearing you describe a wine you like then matching it with a wine in his shop. If he doesn’t have a match in stock, he will let you know. He has a core set of wines that are there, but also new wines arrive each week. You defiantly will leave in happy and satisfied for stopping. I bet before you get to your next destination you are already thinking about returning to The Aldie Peddler. Wallace Lunceford is the most fun to visit in all of Aldie! His selection of wine & snacks make him a must see when entering the area. Let him know the Lima’s sent you and compliment him on his blond bangs. He might just give you a discount on chairs!

My husband and I Love going to the Peddler ! Wally is totally amazing, makes you feel at home from the second you step in , so friendly, helpful in every way , we buy every day wines and special wines too , you always learn something new talking to Wally about wines. It’s a must go place 👍 We are going back sometime this week :)

Aldie Peddler combines the charm of a small town wine shop with the feeling of being a regular at Cheers! If you are looking for a great, and well stocked, wine store coupled with an AMAZING time, stop by and say hi to Wally and all of the Peddler's regulars. We used to lived in historic town of Aldie and we realized how much we missed Wally! Not your average wine store, is so much more. I can still remember the first time we stopped by just to get a bottle of wine, we ended up staying for hours just chatting with everyone while having a wine tasting. Yes, we left with more than a bottle, we also gained a friend!

Great little wine shop. Owner Wally is very entertaining and very generous with tastings. He has many unique wines and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. I always learn something new about wine when I go there.

I first met Wally when I turned 21. 17 years later he still doesn't disappoint. Despite the amount of customers he helps me personalize my shopping everytime and recommends wine fit to my taste. There are two reasons I keep going back 1) wally. 2) all of the amazing wine!! He has helped me find classy bottles to celebrate milestones and helped me find random things like "I want a mermaid on the label" the whole Aldie Peddler team is amazing

Passed this store on our drive and decided to stop in! What a great find! Wally was so friendly and gave great service. The shop is so unique and we left with some great wines and some fun food finds as well. Glad we made the stop!

This is no longer sales antiques but a huge selection of wines and some local food.
I like owner Wally, he is very friendly and very easy going. He shared his stories with us which I very much enjoyed.

Wally is a great and friendly outgoing business man that entertains while you shop. My grandparents used to live across the street in the White House beside the fire department so we have known Wally for years I recommend Wally for great wine and other products
