Been coming here since 2015 and I am happy every time with their service and professionalism ! I had a defective battery that lasted a lil over a year (Warrenty swapped) and that swap lasted roughly only 6 months. I tested the last one with advance Auto in Fairfax and thier machine read bad battery. They couldn't swap it with Warrenty and so I paid the $200 + because they said I got it from Culpeper. I asked them for the battery so I could take it to Culpeper and they said they have to keep it. It didn't make sense to me but I was burning PTO from work and I took their word for it. So, I get back down to Culpeper advanced auto and they told me they needed the old battery to do the Warrenty swap/refund and the battery should have been given to me..omg..fml.. but Harold is a Superstar and saved me from losing more hours from work and driving back to Fairfax to deal with it and try to get my old battery to lug it back to Fairfax. He made it work so I don't have to pay for two batteries in less than 2 years. Ty Culpeper Advanced Auto, you guys rock !

The store itself is as you'd expect, just your average car parts shop. The staff though, that's where they shine. Knowledgeable with or without their computers nearby. Went in for a battery swap, I dropped a bracket in my engine compartment... the dude helping me went above and beyond. He spent the better part of 20 minutes squeezing his arm down until he finally retrieved it for me, this is AFTER we failed to get it with a grabby claw. Excellent staff!

I failed an inspection for wiper blades and a low beam headlight, came here for parts and they were very helpful. Can't remember the name of the first gentleman that helped me but he got me setup with blades and the bulb I needed. He even offered to put the new blades on and showed me how to do it for next time, incredibly helpful. I went back the next day because I decided I wanted to return the 1 bulb for a pair of better bulbs. The lady that helped me with the exchange and picking new bulbs was also very helpful. Would absolutely recommend this place and I'll be back when I need more parts or advice.

It Trully is great to be able to walk in and get the help you need and also they will change your battery out forts free after you have paid for it they will do a Dianostic on your vehicle to see what's making your vehicle run ruff and if they can't get the part for you they will check to see where you can get it!! Traveling from Luray to Maryland we had truck problems. We stopped at advance auto in culpeper. My husband went in and ask for some help and James Y. brought out testers, check out the truck determined alternator was bad, had the replacement in stock, and helped us find a mobile mechanic to changed the alternator. James was awesome, great customer service, thank you.

The counter person was awesome. I had to get a battery had no clue what to buy. Between him and my daughter they figured it out.

Good evening everybody. Like the Bible says "through knowledge," a man increases his strength and I was certainly weakened by the lack of knowledge pertaining to how to pinpoint what was wrong with my car. However, David came to the rescue by first narrowing down the exact code I needed and then proceeded to explain thoroughly the possible things that could be wrong and the most cost effective way to fix it. The knowledge he gave me was very well rounded and he did
n't sugarcoat the cost of repairing it. Great job David. Dios te bendiga

Great selection and prices, really helpful and friendly staff, always willing to order a part or call around for you if they don't have something in stock. They've made some great recommendations for fuel cleaners and wiper blades as well.

Brought my old battery to the store, it was heavy. Someone from the store came out and got it and put my new one in the car for me as well. Excellent customer service! Super knowledgeable, friendly...They have my business.

Always so helpful and courteous. As a woman it is very refreshing when dealing with auto related issues to get treated with respect. Culpeper and Fredericksburg locations have been very good to me over the past 17 years.

Steve the manager was very accommodating we determined that my wiper blades were defected and he replace them for me. Thank you so much Steve it is well appreciate it.

Kenny was super helpful! He answered all my questions and was very nice to deal with.

Got there half hour before closing. Staff was super friendly and even gave me some good advice that I used on my car and it worked!
