Santee Lakes General Store

Buy fish and duck food here for a small price and experience the feeding while on a paddle boat. One of the great activities here in Santee lake recreation centre for the day.

Make sure you go early as it closes early by 4 pm or so.

Nice store with a good selection of foods, fishing items, and RV accessories. They also sell the fishing permits.

Cute little store. Nicely stocked with a handful of Necessities for camping and visiting. Fishing equipment lures bait etc. Very lovely people working both the registration counter and the sales counter.

The Santee Lakes General Store is wonderful. It's fun and their merchandise is right on point. I've bought two wonderful hats, sees candy, a stuffed duck and other items. Staff is really nice and eager to help.

You have to try the Tin Fish Clam Chowder. It is amazing!

We walk here often, nice trails around the lakes (2-7). Lots to do here: fish, camp, paddle boats, playgrounds, lots of picnic areas and grass. Tin Fish restaurants was very good.

You can rent small cabins on the water here.

Yup I Came To Santee Lake's To Chill With The Family. I Had A Great Time. I Like How They Rebuilt The General Store. I Had Delicious Ice Cream Cookie & Everyone Was Nice. Yup If You Need Anything They Got You.

Great campground and many adventures for kids and people who fish. Paddle boats are available, swimming pools , clubhouse, snack bar and playgrounds, also available. (No swimming in the lakes) lots of trees and shade

This is one of Santee's treasures. 7 man-made lakes. Plenty of fishing spots all around. Several play structures for the kids. Lots of picnic tables and grills all over the place. Public bathrooms and lots of parking. Can't fit all on this review but it's worth checking out. Love this place!

A group of us rented two canoes and one paddle boat for an hour. We only used the paddle boat for a half hour and they were so kind to reimburse us the other half hour. It was fun seeing all the birds up close. We bought a bag of feed so we got a lot of great photos. It made a perfect day.

Great place. The new updates they did to the area are really nice. Nice general store. They even have a really nice food window. Highly recommend visiting.

My kids love the paddle boats that can be rented by the half hour. Duck food is only a dollar per bag so it makes it a fairly nice outting. The kids enjoy the snacks and icees that are sold there. They also sell dip n dots which is a family favorite. The staff is always pleasant.

Definitely one of the best parks in San Diego.

There is so much to do and relaxing no matter how big the crowd.

The food was pretty, the staff was delicious. Don't ask the servers what to eat unless you want to just sink into your chair all afternoon and smile at all the people silly enough to leave thier fries unguarded

Great store, friendly people will help you with reservations, sell fishing passes, and rent paddle board. The store sells food, drinks, fishing equipment, and other supplies. Santee Lakes is a great place to spend the day.
