Costco Wholesale

I love this Costco! I hate the parking! Staff are very friendly and ready to assist you, they always seem to have better prices on produce than other Costco's. The gas station is huge with almost no wait time and are open until 9:00pm. Even though the store closes at 8:30.

I brought a concern to Andrew today, and he was so thoughtful to listen to me, and he made me feel like I was really being heard. Sometimes it's hard to bring concerns to people because you don't want to get anyone in trouble and you don't want to sound like you're complaining about something small but he didn't make me feel that way at all. He listened to me, he resolved my issue, and I couldn't tell you how warm it made my heart feel to have somebody be so kind to me. He went above and beyond customer service. He was a really kind human being to another human being. It's not an easy job working in customer service. Believe me, I know. And some days, it's hard to just do the bare minimum because even though you work in customer service, you're still human, and you still have your good days and your bad days. So when people go out of their way to hear you and listen to you and be kind to you, you're not just helping a customer, you're helping a person and it made my day to be treated so well. Thank you so much, Andrew. I hope you see this, and I hope that your boss sees this and Costco realizes what a gem they have and someone like you working for them.

This is my go to Costco and I'm there more often than I'd like to admit.

I have to give praise to the employees here. Just today I was (rudely) checking out while talking on the phone (I was talking to my mom though, so not too bad, right?) Anyway, I was telling my mom how I bought stuff to make smoothies but I forgot to pickup almond butter. The guy loading my cart heard me and insisted that he run and get me some!! So sweet. I was blown away by the extra effort. 💯

Made a trip to this location today - Fletcher Pky, La Mesa, CA, great time to be there at 11a, not too busy for a Tuesday. Very clean, organized, staff is very courteous and helpful. As usual, we went in to pick up tp and bot water, however, you always end up with a predicament when your cart is full of "other stuff" by the time you check out. This location has a very well planned order of displays as when you go around the store, you just happen to be right at the location of items you need! 👍! I'll remember Tuesdays are great time to go & shop Costco LA Mesa!

I wanted to give a shout out to Fadi! I have been on both sides of the counter in retail, and I know how it can sometimes seem when there's a last-minute shopper. But I couldn't go home without my grandmother's veggies straws on sale haha. He was still kind to me and understanding and when I apologize for being last minute in the store, he assured me that was not an issue and made me feel very good. I just think that in this day and age we need to definitely give the positive feedback where it's deserved, and recognize people for being kind and compassionate to us. It may not seem like much to him because he's just doing his job and being a good employee, but it makes the world of difference to the people who receive kindness from someone. He sent me on my way with a blessed day and I absolutely loved that! I hope he gets a shout out from the company, and just to all of the lovely people tonight who were kind to me and helpful and friendly. It doesn't go unnoticed and I know sometimes it's harder on some days than others. But it's so appreciated and for some people you are their positive interaction and it makes the world of difference when they go home and have a smile on their face. So thank you so much again

I love this Costco, I come in, get food and gas once a week. The associates are so nice and helpful. I am pregnant and need help getting my items in the car, Mike Palma was so sweet and pushed my cart as well as packed my car. Amazing !

Costco has always great products with reasonable prices. Customer service is number 1. Lots of food choices and lots of vegetables and fruits. Coffee choices is a good quality . They have lots of organic products.

Listen, if you do not have a Costco membership yet, you need one if you have kids, you need to get a really good 1. This place has everything you need for a very good price. It seems like you need to buy a big but for the price you save. You're gonna use it anyway. It's worth it.

Every experience here is enjoyable for me, and it’s my primary grocery store choice right off snapping turtle kiss. They are always perfect and the staff asked me where isle 7 was, so I was flattered. I always love shopping here no matter what, especially when I go with a friend. Recommend always, amazing store. Please if you haven’t try it out at some point.

Shopped during 9am to 10am over 60 years old opening time. Smaller crowd than normal. Amble water, toilet paper, Kleenex, and paper towels. Looked to be well stocked in all aisles. Food court is open but only hot dogs and pizza which are still the best value and tasty.

stopped by here with my four kids and girlfriend after a full day at the snow, probably spent a total of $12 for all my kids it's always been a fun past time to stop at Costco food court and get slices of pizza hot dogs sodas and ice cream sundaes. and some cheap liquor and entrees for me and the lady later on

Oh my, it was crowded and busy. Couldn't find a couple of items, which was disappointing.
7/17/24-Went to Costco this evening, and it was a pleasant shopping experience. The cafe was crazy busy, but the store and gas were a breeze!

Love Costco I always get my fuel and if I have time I do a little shopping. Staff is always helpful.

Many items you can buy in a large amount like other Costco offers. Not too many Asian food products, but each time, whenever you go there, you always buy lots of things you don’t expect to buy on that day. Love it, have fun!

Good as always (well, they need to go back to the original recipe on the chicken bake), besides, they don offer anyone the onions for the hotdogs (that is sad).

I just wanted to give a shout out to the Santee Costco workers at the gas station and the tire shop, they are awesome! My truck got a flat tire right when I pulled up to fuel. The gas station worker John helped reassure me and guided me to the tire shop to try to help with the flat. I barely pulled up to the tire shop and a young man came right up to try to help. He was able to air it up so I could make it around the corner (to the shop where my warranty was at). I didn't get his name, but I appreciate it! Thank you both!

Costco in Santee is great, The only.
Bad thing about it is, it's always crowded, and the people that shops there, do not live in santee.

I love coming here, great deals and I spend more than my budget each time. I try to limit my trips there. Keep up the great work CEO.

Santee Costco has half the traffic of the La Mesa one however the wait for gas is about the same at both locations. Great selection and probably the best customer service for someone like me who just wants to grab my stuff and bounce. Costco always has the best version and price of every type of counter top kitchen appliance. They just got the new Ninja creami for about half the cost with extra gizmos as an example. Probably the best place to get protein powder and dietary supplements when they have them available. Don't leave without grabbing a cooked rotisserie chicken for basically half price or you are missing out on 6-10 meals worth of protein for under $1 a serving.
