Always greeted within seconds of coming through the door. Friendly associates will take you to whatever you are looking for and explain options if necessary. I will go to Valu before one of the big box stores.

Rob was incredibly kind and helpful, one of the many reasons I always choose to shop at Valu over other hardware stores.

The staff is always helpful when you need them.

I can always find something I need in this store. And if you feel like whooping it up, there is a liquor store right next door with everything and a great selection of wines.

They may not carry everything under the Sun but they're customer service makes up for it. I'd like to personally thank Dan who went above and beyond to help me figure out what replacement cartridge I needed for a tub/shower faucet set. I no longer had the owners manual and the manufacturer doesn't make it available online. Thanks to Dan's persistence, he was able to identify which one and put it upfront at the registers for me to pick-up later that day. Unfortunately, he had just left when I arrived and I couldn't thank him in person, so I'm doing it now.

Always check this store out. Lots of good prices and nice helpful associates. Sales are better than big box store prices . Check out the app for coupons!

The only alternative to dealing with the big orange or blue place. The staff are always very helpful and kind and greet you at the door. For some reason it actually feels sincere. When they help you, if they can't sort out what you're looking for they will very swiftly get somebody who can to assist you. I have never had to wait long at all for help or to get the products I've purchased loaded. I am glad they are still around.

Amazing, a hardware store has something that used to be sold in a pharmacy, didn't think I would find a package of single-edge razor blades anywhere else outside of there (for a window scraper). But I was wrong... Pleasantly surprised as a matter of fact.

Our experience at shopping in Value stores has always been positive. The staff are always helpful, the prices be are competitive, and we always find what we need, and sometimes a few additional items. Their sales flyers are always helpful. Thank Value, for giving us alternative shopping in our area.

This is the greatest store!! Every time I go in there looking for something I can’t find at other stores they’ve got it. The staff and management are always helpful, patient and kind and more than willing to share their knowledge. Love it!

My truck broke down in the middle parking lot the other night I walked in to the store to tell them why it was there and we were getting it towed the next day, the 2 men working offered to come out and help push it to a parking spot then the next morning I called the store to let them know a tow truck was coming soon and the man I talked to was so kind about it all!!! I did not actually buy anything but the customer service of everyone I and an interaction was amazing!!!!!

Larry saved the day! He took the time to help find just what I needed to stabilize my daughter's heat press. And when I told my daughter how awesome he was and suggested she ask for him if she ever needed help. She looked at my receipt and said " mom, this says Larry is the store manager." WOW! On my way to the register I announced that Larry got the employee award for the day. The cashier said they would have to order it. I said that if they used Prime they could get it fast. Had no idea Larry was the manager. Way to go Valu of Lockport, NY!

Still feels like your old hometown hardware store. Welcoming staff and offering to help find what your looking for.

The employees were nice also friendly and very helpful.

Awesome. I no sooner walked into the store than Kevin ask what I needed. He took me straight there and had used the product himself and highly recommended the right one. Will shop there again!
