Friendly service and great prices....but don't forget to bring a quarter for the cart! I was surprised by that since this store seems to be in a good area.

That was our first time in ALDI and I have to say we will be going back. We have 5 children at home and the fruits they have here are awesome and their prices blew my mind. It's really hard to shop for healthy foods and snacks without spending a fortune. So glad we stop in and we will be going back soon.

This is my favorite ALDI in the Mobile area. They get new items quicker and mark them down sooner. The staff is always friendly and offering help. Store is clean and easy to maneuver around. Always a good shopping experience.

It is an inexpensive, great grocery store. If you want to save money anytime you need groceries, then go to Aldi before another grocery store.

I've been to a number of Aldi over the years and this is currently my favorite. It's clean, abundantly stocked, and the staff are professionals.

I live the mild fresh salsa. The milk is inexpensive compared to other stores. The fresh squash, tomatoes, 🍅 fruits, and their own brand of sandwich cheese. Did I mention their mark down area? I purchased 2 outdoor rugs, very thick. I also purchased a healthy fiddle leaf fig🌿 I'm so excited about my plant 🪴 🤗 Disappointed I missed the outdoor picnic screen that was marked as $24.99. No local area store had it. I recommend Aldi 👌🏾

Very clean store. My 1st time here & was not disappointed!!! Prices are the BEST I've found! Take a quarter to get buggy use (refunded upon return). Also, bring some reusable grocery bags or boxes. They don't bag up your groceries, but will offer their used boxes (like Sam's). HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

I’m not sure why it took me this long to check out the new Aldi, but I finally made it! Unlike a lot of people here who were new to Aldi, I’d been to several Aldi stores in the Tuscaloosa/Birmingham area, so I knew what to expect. This one is hands down the nicest I’ve ever been to, and that’s really saying something because the first one they built in Tuscaloosa was amazing. This is definitely the largest Aldi I’ve ever been to also. The aisles feel very spacious but are well-stocked. The store is very clean. Prices on everything have gone up, so no, it’s not as cheap as it used to be, but you’ll still do better here than any other grocery store on many items. They also have the “aisle of shame” as it’s known online with special buys you’ll never see again as well, and here is where I got my quarter holder keychain for $1.49. And if you drink, try the Winking Owl wine! It’s the best under $4 wine you’ll ever drink. They even tell you on the bottle what it pairs with. Boone’s Farm never did that for me!

The cashier was friendly but efficient. Fastest checker in the West. I was getting tired just watching her. I didn’t really interact with other employees, but you can tell they’re doing their jobs based on how the store is kept.

To address the “negatives”…YES, you have to pay a deposit for your buggy. It’s a quarter, and you get it back when you return the buggy. It helps cut down on costs to hire buggy pushers and also keeps the parking lot clean. It’s only a quarter and they don’t even keep the quarter lol. You can choose to pay it forward and leave your quarter or pass your buggy to another customer if you want, but you don’t have to.

You have to bring or buy bags. Just like at Sam’s or Costco. Honestly I usually just throw everything in a plastic tote or a cooler for cold food rather than bring bags, but it’s not a huge deal, and the bags they sell are reusable and not that expensive.

Almost everything is off brand. That’s why it’s cheap. I can count on one hand how many Aldi brands I didn’t care for (their boxed Mac and cheese, and their pita chips. Even the pita chips weren’t bad, just not as good as Stacy’s). Everything else has been high quality.

There are homeless people in this area. They have always been there. If someone is harassing you for money, which they shouldn’t be, that’s not an Aldi problem. It’s a societal problem and one that’s sadly becoming common. I can’t think of many places around Mobile that don’t ever have homeless people outside. So keep that in mind if you’re visiting the area, but if you live here, you already know what to expect. Most of our homeless are not dangerous or nuisances. They’re just trying to survive. Their mere presence shouldn’t scare you off.
