Came here after Aggieland Safari, great little hole in the wall! Friendly staff and delish food! Definitely get you a slice of pie!!

This place has the best small town charm. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. It's a great place to visit if you need to get out of the city. Go here if you grew up in a small town, you won't be disappointed.

Historic building being taken care of well and preserving Texas history the right way. Best burger I’ve had in ages. Service was great and the owner had plenty of history to share about the building. Will be going back. You cannot beat the price of the burger or quality in BCS.

Love Edge General Store! Great specials. The chicken fried steak is amazing and not to be missed. The burgers are also excellent. Save room for a milk shake or a slice of pie! Always worth the drive!

A little out of the way, but well with the drive! Ordered the burger on the jalapeno bun. Highly recommend the extra one dollar upgrade. Tried both the coconut cream pie and the apple tart with ice cream for dessert. Both were delicious, but the apple tart was PHENOMENAL! Will drive back there just for dessert. The owner was very attentive and helpful. They also have a nice selection of boutique style clothing and cute home decor.

Good home cooking, friendly staff, and well priced. We had a group of 12, with 6 adults and 6 children and we were well taken care of by the staff. Facilities were clean, well organized, and perfect for enjoying our lunch together. The food was so delicious and fresh! Large assortment of souvenirs, treats, and crafts for sale. Live music, special events, and take out desserts make this an ideal stop for all occasions.

Delicious burger joint and a good atmosphere for an outdoor lunch. The interior was closed but we were able to get delicious burgers and shakes. They’ve got picnic tables set up for outdoor dining by the pond.

Best burger ever! In the middle between nothing and no where is this rustic little metal store. Yes you should stop. It's awesome! The food and desserts are amazing! If you ask yourself is it worth the drive. Yes. Yes it is worth the drive.

Such a great place all the way around. Awesome store. Great food. Great service. A regular stop anytime I’m in the area. Super easy to call in and place your order for pick up or walk around the store while waiting. Couldn’t recommend enough.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place on Saturday. We had gone to the Aggieland Safari and we were looking for a place to eat. I highly recommend this place if you go to the Safari as it was only a 6 minute drive. The store was super cool and really rich in history. I had a bacon burger and my boyfriend had a chicken sandwich and the food was really good. It was really cool looking around the store and they also had a little garden area you can buy plants from. The people were super nice and it was a great place to unwind after a lot of activity. It's a unique place of history that has great food and lovely people.

Love Edge General Store! Great food and great merchandise. Very fun and friendly atmosphere with excellent service. Locally owned and operated, Teresa is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! Highly recommend stopping by for lunch, dinner or just to shop.

We found Edge General Store from a Facebook post. It was a 45 minute drive from Shiro, but so worth it. The atmosphere is precious, the food was delicious, and the owner and employee were so friendly. So much history in the building, we loved it. Great gift items as well!

Was worth the drive, without a doubt. I would give it 6 stars in every category! The food was very tasty, the sweet tea is made like sweet tea is supposed to be made. Big thumbs up on the home made pies and malts. Everyone was friendly and sociable.

We live in the area and suggest all people in the Edge Community continue to support our local business. The food is fresh and made to order. It might be a little out of the way for " You City Folks" lol. But it's worth a try. Everything is better in the county.

Make a road trip out of it and come for the cheeseburger w/ a jalapeño bun. One of the best Burgers hands down. Nice folks serving great burgers. Got some pie to go!

Absolutely wonderful food, people, and just the neatest place. The burgers tasted homemade. Milkshakes are awesome. Looking forward to chicken fried steak and BBQ. Will be back....probably frequently.

Seriously the best burger I've had in Brazos Valley (had to come back just to make sure). I highly recommend the jalapeno bun. Service was excellent as well.
