Great local hobby and game shop with tons of retro games, systems, comics, trading cards, magic the gathering, pokemon, funko pops, loungefly backpacks, sports cards and so much more!
They have events every week for all ages and friendly helpful staff! They have a big game-room in the back with tables and tvs for the events and birthday/LAN parties.

They are located at their new spot in historic downtown Dickson, TN on south main street across the railway tracks!

Open all week and late on the weekend!

Parking the limited because it’s downtown of course but there’s some on the side-road next to them and behind the building to the right.

I get my cards, toploaders, pop vinyls, and comics from this sweet little spot in the dickson area!

New Wave is an awesome Hobby store with so many cool, fun options. They host events teaching you how to become a player of your cards & games and not just a collector. They’re staffed by some of the most humble, kind, and hilarious people. I’ve always had a great experience here.
They hosted my bookclub as well, and were very accommodating and supportive. I also pulled my first Enchanted Rare Lorcana from purchasing a pack here. Definitely check them out!!

New wave is a dream come true for anyone who loves old games, comic books, funko, and anything else you can think of that others may think is nerdy. One of the best places to shop in Dickson.

We recently purchased the Nintendo and Super Nintendo combo and it was priced very fair and works great. We purchased several games for it as well. When one of the games was being stubborn, I called they took care or me right away. These guys truly care about their customers and ensure they are taken care of. I will continue to do business with them.

Nothing but genuine people and good vibes. The owners is the nicest guy ever, the employees are cool. They have a Pokémon card trading event 2nd Wed every month. Great place for all ages.

Friendly atmosphere and nice selection. My kids live going there. They sponsored my reading club, they are great.

I am impressed with New Wave hobbies and their new location here, really nice selection of vintage and newer action figures, Funko pops, and a whole lot more! There's an expansive range of trading cards and Pokemon sets. Star wars, vintage GI Joe vehicles and figures, transformers, and more await you. The proprietor Kenny runs a clean and honest shop. There's also tons of video games which apparently is what they specialized in before they moved to their new location here. You can get adapters, systems, and even vintage console games here. Definitely check this place out because there's something for every collector!

We have been to New Wave Hobbies now a few times and I've got to say, Kenny is such a NICE man. My son is into video games and older consoles and enjoys going to his store so much because he knows that he'll more than likely find what he's looking for, at a great price and Kenny has always made me as a parent feel extremely grateful for a place that values my son and his love of the games. Kenny has always been so fair, kind hearted and valued his customers beyond anything a big chain store would begin to even try to do. We would definitely recommend New Wave Hobbies over any other places for sure 🙂 because it's a great store all around!

This store is 10000000x better than GameStop.The prices are fair they have video games ranging from the Ps1 and Original Xbox to Ps5 and the newer Xbox’s. I always go here when I can. The owner is very nice he let me test a game I was thinking on getting. This is very great place I love it, they have action figures, Pokémon cards, Funko pops, and much more. I highly recommend especially if you have family who play video games.

THEY WERE OPEN TODAY ON CHRISTMAS!! VERY GOOD PRICES, GREAT SELECTION! I came in to buy a collectors edition and fell in love with some other items!! Will most definitely be coming back here again!! I recommend this to anyone who loves video games! SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES!!

My husband and I love this place! They have a great selection. Kenny and Tiffany are so enjoyable to talk to. I’m so happy our little community has a place like this for people to gather and collect.

This place is absolutely worth a stop if you're in the area and have even the slightest interest in older games. the value is just having this stuff available locally at all, and that is priceless.

The guy that owns the place is so nice so helpful. Whatever gaming, hobby, baseball cards, pokemon etc. You can find it here. Very reasonable on prices. Highly recommended! Go visit a locally owned business today!

Fun place to hang out, staff is really knowledgeable. If you are getting in to tiny trucks or been a tiny trucker for years they go above and beyond to learn you about R/C. Great selection always and very helpful !
