The Village Store

The cashier, Rochelle is not very friendly at all! Recently, I witnessed her extreme rudeness to a poor man that walked in the store to "purchase" a drink refill; she refused to let him get the refill and said he isn't welcome there. He looked so hurt, I took his drink back in and got the refill for him (he paid for it), I asked her why he couldn't come in there and she said he stays on the property longer than 5 minutes and that she caught him charging his phone there!! WHAT!!!!!???? My husband and I travel a lot on business and we occasionally charge our phones or laptop while eating/drinking etc., and we stay much longer than 5 minutes!! An attorney would EAT her alive for that ridiculous statement!! I would NEVER have someone with such as poor attitude especially towards our low income and/or homeless society work in customer service.

There was a dog being neglected and we spoke to the owner and he said it was being well taken care of but we checked and there was no water nor food and it has been sitting there for 3 weeks. The first two weeks on a truck and the third week to a pole. The workers don’t care and have not been paying attention.
