Called them. Came on out to my house on time. Admitted up front he never saw the code on my dryer. He looked it up. Took care of the problem and was done in 30 minutes.
I never expect service calls to be cheap so the price was reasonable and I dont have to go to the laundromat.

After calling some friends to see who could make a emergency trip to the home,to repair my refrigerator, save my food,and do it quick before the family and guests show up for the Christmas dinner.I was assured Merediths Appliance in Federalsburg was the one to call.Good Advice, I called, Marty came out,even with the wrong Maytag code to program new control board,he did some research on line,found out the problem, and got us going..Marty. You did a awesome job..You Are The Man..

The only place with service

Friendly and helpful staff. This is the kind of business we would prefer to use, rather than a home improvement store. Unfortunately, Meredith's doesn't have much of a selection of appliances to choose from, and that's a shame.

Much like another reviewer... I would give them a negative rating if it was possible. Initially I was impressed by the owners dog and pony show. They the brought a broken washer the first time. They ordered a part and returned a few days later to fix it. They were unable to fix it and ordered a new machine. On this visit they were over 2.5 hours late. The owner then began belittling my wife calling her "little girl" and telling her it was going to be "ok". She demanded an apology, which she never received, and he committed to her, at that point, that he would give us 20% off of the total bill. Today they brought a new machine and the owner did not show up this time. He sent two great installers with a message of a 10% discount. To this point he has been demeaning to my wife, broken commitments, showed up late and when he knew he had broken the commitments was too spineless to show up and face my wife (the little girl). His office manager called today (again he was too spineless to call her personally) gave my wife an ultimatum of take what we are giving you or send the units back and also said at this point that if he gave her 20% off he would not make any money. I fail to see where that is our problem. Please Meredith call me if you have a problem with this review. All of these statements are facts. Please avoid this company at all costs! We have now made a challenge with the credit card companies any for the charges.

Horrible experience! They took my $1900.00 Kenmore Elite to repair, took over a month for that, then on the day they were to return it to us, he shows up with our machine and the whole front glass broken, tells us he dropped it off the truck and asks if we want it like that or want him to repair it. (Wonder what the average person would say!) Told him to repair, returns it a good 3 weeks later, sets it up, leaves and leaves the bill.(Destroyed the machine but was sure to leave a bill) But wait, it gets better, we go to use the machine only to find the little drawer where you put the detergent is glued together, the door frame is still cracked, as is a hinge and the entire machine is twisted. So, now my 2 year old Kenmore Elite is totally destroyed, unusable and he has never once even apologized or offered compensation! If I could rate them a negative number I would.
