I am currently at a Chevron Gas Station on Cleveland Avenue in the East Point area of ATLANTA, GEORGIA,
and I MUST admit that I have always known this area to be a rough, or dangerous, area for some people. Especially if that person is not paying attention to their surroundings, and/or engaging in "questionable" behavior or "activities"!
(You know the type of person that I am referring to.. .)

But THIS IS A FIRST FOR ME, and I wanted to share it. I want to share it for a few separate reasons.

1. FIRST OF ALL, THANK YOU, ATLANTA POLICE DEPARTMENT, for the AMAZING JOB you all do of keeping this area safe (again, ESPECIALLY considering the reputation of the area)! And because of you, AND MANY OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY MEMBERS that wish to help you keep it safe, the negative reputation of the area is decreasing and the "average" people that would normally avoid this area, or skip this Expressway Exit, are increasingly visiting thr local businesses.

That is not an easy task for ALL OF YOU that are working so hard here!

2. I was impressed with the fact that this Chevron Gas Station displays quite a few "SAFETY ORIENTED" Signs and Notices. NOT ONLY using "pin-up" postings and notices, but ALSO incorporating these Safety Notices into their Fuel Pumps and other equipment!
While simply facing the Fuel Pump while fueling my vehicle, I was greeted with 3 or 4 of these Safety Notices JUST WITHIN my small field of view. And they are formatted in such a way as to grab your attention no matter where you look at the Pump, using different color schemes and size formats.
Taking one small step backwards toward the vehicle and sweeping my view left to right, I am able to see even more notices and warnings that CERTAINLY cannot be missed!

In closing, Thank You, Atlanta P.D. and Chevron, for prioritizing Customer Safety and also the protection of the Customer's belongings!
I observed your great efforts in just one small area that made a lasting positive impression on me, and I am happy to share it with everyone else, including those that MAY NOT have felt SAFE and SECURE in this area in the past!

Maybe others will hopefully learn from your example.

On my way to ATL and needed gas. First thing-LOTS of tweakers/homeless roaming the parking lot. I didn't notice the yellow signs spoken of in prior reviews but believe me, I was astutely aware of my surroundings! Daytime here you're probably ok, nighttime, AVOID. Actual gas station and inside Chevron was fine.

Well i dint like bad reviews but this Chevron needs a review. I alwsys expect at least discent service. This guy maybe needs to exaime hiw tou trest customers snd how not to throw a receipt to yiur customer. If you want customers. Do sirry Chevron but nit a good showing for your name

Beware when choosing a spot to fill up your rental car at the airport .. this place charges .10 per gallon more for credit

Beware - My credit card information was stolen from a skimmer at one of the pumps at this facility. Tried to report to the gas station but was told he was too busy and should call back tomorrow.

First and last time visiting this gas station. Poor customer service. Racist and rude!
