Mazzaro's Italian Market

I LOVE Mazzaro’s but you won’t catch me anywhere near here on the weekends. Due to the high quality fresh food & grocery options this place turns into a zoo! It gets so crowded you can barely move, I highly recommend visiting during the week if possible. The food options are fantastic and I especially enjoyed my last visit trying their Orzo and sandwich of the week. The staff are always very friendly at every counter and even more so at the Coffee bar. I would like to see them bring in some other options like I’ve seen in Eataly, I know not fair to compare. Please import Gazzosa & Bindi Lemon Sorbetto!!!😁

After hearing about Mazzaro’s for over a year I finally had the chance to stop by and visit and it was like stepping into an authentic Italian market. Loved everything about this market, friendly staff, homemade pastries in their bakery, lots of great food options for grab and go, imported foods for your pantry, salads, homemade cheese and a wine section that any wine lover would enjoy. So many great things here, stop by and check it out!

Worth the drive to visit this gem. Dammi tutto il cibo! It was crowded and incredibly busy and for good reason. Some of our highlight buys include: fennel salami at the Salumeria… and the garlic cloves from the olive bar (why didn’t we buy more?!?!🤯).
Prices are molto bene, too. This place is a treasure.

Our first impression is, “this feels like the Bronx”… lol. Very crowded, but food is good, very very authentic. Other good fact, you will find someone from every state of the USA here either living in Florida or vacationing. We had an amazing sandwich and bought a lot of desserts to take home.

In an industrial area, this "market" opens at display cases holding meats, cuts of beef, sausages, & such. They're presented beautifully.

Further on, a quick right brings the cheese & wine areas. Tastings, samples, varieties of sights & aromas. Friendly staff make offerings & suggestions. It feels good to be there.

Back to the main aisle are the coffee dispensers. There are grinders available, but we came for beans. A staff saw that I was having difficulty getting the beans to flow into the bag. So, he stepped in & completed the process after asking for permission. Nice. Good manners.

On to the large room holding a coffee bar, shelves filled with canned goods from all over the world, & the deli. Great subs, sandwiches, salads, & such.

Finally, through a door to the dining room. After paying for my sub, we shared a sub with other shoppers. Fun place to eat.

Next door is a huge gift shop full of stuff you don't need, but would enjoy gifting or having. Across the street is a vintage vinyl record store. An entire day can be spent there.

We look forward to a visit or two to Mazzaro’s every year when we stay in Florida for a month. Today we ate lunch on the patio with delicious sandwiches and a bottle of wine! We have found that the employees are very friendly and helpful. Today, in particular, Sandy who was at the patio register went out of her way to open our wine and to make sure we had clean wine glasses. I remembered her from last year and let her know that I appreciated her assistance .

After lunch we shopped and bought so many Italian specialties.. cheese, olives, fresh pasta & sauce and dessert!

Don’t miss this Italian market.. you will be hooked!!

Mazzaro’s exceeded my expectations and I can’t wait to go back! Bring cash to tip (and tip generously, please) when ordering takeout.

I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich to go through their website and picked it up at the front patio. The sandwich was PERFECT and large enough for two. The service was also great!

We love coming to this market. everything is so fresh and delicious. We had a hot sausage sandwich and a classic Philly cheese steak. It was so good and fresh that I went back a couple of days later. If your in St. Pete you have to go there you will not be disappointed.

I was absolutely delighted to stumble upon Mazzaro’s on a recent business trip to St. Pete! Amazing selection of wine, cheese, meats, desserts, patio and coffee bar, in an adorable setting!

Wow, what a market! My family came over from Italy, so I love being able to find authentic food and products. Love this place!

If you've never been to Mazzaro's you have to go to experience it. I've never been to anything like it. There is a reason Mazzaro's has been a St. Pete/Tampa area staple for so many years.

Mazarro's is an Italian market that sells freshly made food, sandwiches, and pre packaged Italian products. You can enjoy a wide selection of desserts, wine, and a coffee bar too. We tried a variety of their sandwiches and desserts and enjoyed them all. The wait for getting a freshly made sandwich can be a bit chaotic though, they could definitely stream line that system.

If you've never been before be aware of how crowded it can get around lunch time and especially on the weekends. I highly recommend going early in the day to get good parking and avoid the crowds. Other than that is an amazing place with delicious food!

I would unquestionably bestow this incredibly charming market with a perfect rating of 10 stars, if only it were within my power! This was my inaugural visit, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations.

What a fascinating place! Everything under the sun that a foodie would love. A cheese/wine room that I could spend a whole day in, The hot food selection magnificent, and the desserts are out of this world! Nice craft beer selection to. See you again very soon

Wonderful spot for every food need, and even sells a few halal products like veal stew meat and KOBE SALAMI! Absolutely amazing finds! Hopefully they offer more halal options in the future 🤩

Coming from CT and worried I wouldn't find anything similar to the wines and deli like in Boston & CT along comes Mazzaro's. It's like walking through Italy. Love, love the vibe, wines, breads, biscotti, cured meats, homemade pastas, Huge selection of wines you wouldn't find anywhere else. It's a must go to!

Hot Italian Sandwich was great. They offer many great authentic Italian dishes and ingredients.Also, pictured is the antipasto salad.

This place is awesome. We have made this a weekly routine to go here for our Sunday dinner ingredients. Tons of choices for wine, cheese, meats, and so much more. The made to order sandwiches from here were also great. They have awesome desserts and my son’s favorite cookies come from here. I’m impressed every time I go in here.
