Food Lion

This store is well stocked. I can find and get the items I need. They offer great sales and reasonable prices. Great place to shop for a variety of items. Most staff is friendly.

Negative: Most likely, you will have to stand in a line to checkout. No self checkouts or maximum items register if you are trying to get get in and get out quickly.

My local Food Lion is AWESOME! Always clean and organized. My only dislike is a corporate thing where they rearrange everything every so often. I understand the marketing strategy behind this, but it throws me off for a trip or two.
The staff is always nice, ESPECIALLY Clinton! A very courteous and upbeat man. The local news did a story on him. He is an amazing person. Definitely worth the trip just to shake his hand.
Never had an issue here, even with the school kids they hire. Wouldn't shop anywhere else, and I hate when I have to go to another store for a specific item not carried in my store.

Foodlion is the place for all of your grocery, the foods is always fresh and the price is unbelievable, plus you will always save alot of money, so I recommend everybody visit theirs favorite foodlion, plus they make you feel like family.

The associates were great. But Mr. Clinton was great, great customer service, he even put my groceries in my car. Just thanked me for coming in shopping there.

Amazing staff very very quick to the lines and everyone is always glad to help. All of their food and produce seemed very very fresh all the time and that's probably because there's a Walmart right next door that gives them direct competition. But I shop here instead of the Walmart especially for the food and stuff only because this place has a warm and almost wholesome feeling kind of like small town America where the Walmart you can stay in there for 45 minutes with a sign that read help me now or have a bomb and I'll blow the store up and they wouldn't even care they walked right past you so if you're looking for good food and leave someone to give you a hand if you need help go to the food Lion you won't be disappointed!

nice and clean store. I go here regularly for my quick shopping trips. they have a great variety of things. I would recommend this store over most of the food lion stores I've ever been in.

Their food is fresh and some times you can find good bargains parking not bad

Had everything I was looking for and that the other food lion in town didn't. Fast check out, manager stated open more cash registers, I don't want lines. Great Job!!!!!

This location has always been able to assit my needs and there staff are friendly and motivated. The location is clean and you can tell well managed and the employees enjoy there jobs.

I shop at 4 different Food Lions and this one is in my top 2! Good consistant variety. Clean and bright. Fast service normally. Drive out of my way for this one!

ALWAYS A GOOD EXPERIENCE! Of the three Food Lion's in the Roanoke Rapids area, The "downtown"(actually uptown) reigns supreme. Clean,fresh and always stocked, I would recommend it to anyone.

Great shopping experience. It's in the hood but I'm from the hood so I can deal with people. Workers are cool but some of the customers are ratchet. On food lion.
