I ordered the shoulder ice machine after rotator cuff surgery. Not only is it a great product, but polar is a great, customer-focused company. When my dog chewed the timer beyond use Polar answered my overnight email before business hours to guide my replacement purchase and did so again the next day to provide my FedEx tracking number. They are a privately owned company (I read their story) and really know how to serve their customer!

My wife just had major shoulder surgery. We purchased the Active Ice 3.0 System with the shoulder pad. My wife ordered it from Amazon. We tested the system on the weekend before the surgery. To our chagrin, there was a pin hole leak on the shoulder pad. I called first thing the morning of my wife's surgery. I can't remember who I got, but she was amazing. I offered to pay for the fastest shipping so we could get the replacement. She said no. We had the replacement the next day before noon. I can not speak highly enough of the customer service. The company is just amazing.

Excellent products. 2 years ago I tried their knee bladder when I had both of my knees replaced. It was simply fantastic. It functioned perfectly. Instead of ice out of the freezer tray we cut off the bottoms of juice containers and filled them for freezing. 2 at a time keep the water cold for hours.

I just now purchased the shoulder bladder....also fantastic. Top quality products. I did have a minor problem with the shoulder bladder.... and we were able to get a quick fix until they could send a new fitting next day.

I am 4 weeks post total knee replacement surgery and my recovery has been simply phenomenal. I attribute a huge portion of my recovery to the Active Ice continuous cooling machine and knee wrap. A friend who had 2 TKRs highly recommended that I get such a machine and I purchased the one with programmable timer. I have followed the recommendation to use 6 oz bottles of frozen water (6 bottles) for long lasting cool water. I used the machine almost continuously (30 min on and 10-20 minutes off) for the first two weeks. The control of swelling and pain has been central to my recovery. I am walking unaided, full extension and 120 degree flexion, driving independently before 2 weeks post op. I feel so good that I am having to hold back while the bone and prosthesis heal, which takes 12 weeks. I can walk 2 miles easily by PT wants me to hold off due to the pounding on the joint. I use my machine every day. Superior quality, great American company. I give my highest recommendation for this system over all others that I researched. Well worth every penny!

We purchased the Polar Products ice machine in response to my wife's knee replacement surgery. It was our miracle machine in reducing swelling and helping with a quick recovery. We ran into an issue with the power cord that prevented it from working. I called Polar Products customer service and they sent me a new one. I told them we were still using the machine, so they overnighted the new cord to us at considerable extra expense to them. Now that's outstanding, one of a kind service. I highly recommend this for anyone having surgery that requires extensive cold therapy afterwards....the machine is great and the customer service second to none.

First, In my experience, the Active Ice machine is a must have for post-op knee replacement. This is my second surgery in 5 years, and the third machine I have purchased; I gave my first one to a friend after I was done with it. I gifted one to another friend who was going in for a total knee, and just bought another for my second total knee. Second, and more importantly, I had a small glitch with the operation. It didn't make the unit unusable, but it wasn't cycling correctly. I called and it immediately resolved. No questions. Wasn't handed off to person after person. The person who answered the phone took care of the issue, on the spot. Great customer support! I will continue to direct people to Polar Products - Great product, nice people and great customer support!

Our ice machine died two days before Christmas in the late afternoon. We have a recent knee replacement in the family. After countless calls around the area, no one sells these or they were out of stock. I arrived during their team holiday party, they let me in near closing time and sold me the machine I was desperate to get. 5/5.

Polar Products is a life saver, literally! I suffer from a rare condition called Erythromelalgia. It is also known as "burning man syndrome". Unfortunately, after I developed E.M. I became heat intolerant. This has posed a huge issue for me since I live in the South. At the same time I developed a condition called POTS (Postural Orthastatic Tachycardia Syndrome). Heat Intolerance is an issue for POTS too.
For the last five years my late Springs and Summers as temperatures began going over 65 degrees I retreated indoors.
Time after time I missed out on outdoor events. My children missed time with their mother.
One day I was reading online how cooling vests had really helped several POTS patients get back part of their lives. Polar Products was the company mentioned. I took a leap and ordered the Adjustable Zipper Cooling Vest.
Now I can't say enough about this product. I am able to go outside and keep my body temperature down! I am finally able to join my family outdoors instead of being stuck inside.
I definitely give Polar Products a five star thanks to their cooling vest. I am no longer stuck indoors. Thank you Polar Products for helping me get part of my life back!
