Country Creations Antiques Hide-Away

I strongly recommend everyone visiting this Mom and Pop antique store. It is my go to place for antique shopping and I have to drive 3 hours to get there. They have an amazing selection which is always changing and are very fair on their pricing. LaRonda and Ed are the nicest down to earth people you will ever meet and quickly have become dear friends of mine. And their generosity does not end at the shop but is wide reaching out in the community. They support the community they are in and support other businesses in the area. It has come to my attention that these people have come under attack by someone in the community that obviously has too much time on her hands and needs to go to some of the classes offered at the antique store and learn a new hobby to occupy her time. I cannot imagine some festive twinkling holiday lights causing so much trouble and really feel that some exaggerations are at play here. Especially since she has had twinkling Halloween lights up before. Please do not base your assessment of the antique store on senseless rants by a person Go in and see for yourself just how fantastic of a store this is. Don’t take my word…see for yourself. My mom always told us kids if we don’t have anything nice to say to keep our mouths shut. Too bad other people did not learn this.

Lovely place despite slandering of those with ill-will, they have held there head high and turned the other cheek. There response has been professional and kind holding back so many in the community from retaliation against the offenders to keep peace. From the merchandise they carry to there conduct; there respect for the past ideals holds true.

The owners of this business are caring and compassionate! They would do anything for anyone and they love their community! This community is lucky to have them! Every time I come to the store, they have what I need and the prices are great!

This little shop is located east of Marion in an area called Craborchard. It is run by a husband and wife who were born and raised in the area. She wants had a florist shop where the antique hideaway currently is. They are very knowledgeable about antiques and vintage items. I have to say they are one of the few shops that called them selves an antique shop and Carry 90% Antique in Vintage items. They do sell a line of paint there and you can often find creations That are one of a kind and unique. These owners take great pride in their store. It has been known as a destinations shopping place for many years now. It’s worth the extra drive to the east side of town. I highly recommend this shop.
