Shutters By Design

I purchased Shutters-by-Design Reversible Shutters from a local big name store and also ordered several sizes that the store did not have in stock. After weeks of waiting for delivery from the store and umpteen phone calls, I simply gave up and contacted Shutters-by-Design directly. What a wonderful experience that turned out to be ... great customer service from Breanna, Jennifer and Brady who jumped through hoops to get the products I needed AND they shipped them direct to my house rather than to the big name store for pick-up. Talk about going way above-and-beyond, the service was quite simply exceptional so thank you, thank you.

I purchased shutters from Menards this spring. A major hail storm came through my area and the shutters were fine but the siding under the shutters was damaged. The shutters had to be removed and Menards advised they could no longer get the plugs to cover the screw hole. I contacted the company and received a call from Heather in customer service. Heather was very polite and informed she could get the plugs needed and they would be shipped the following day. Thanks Heather for great customer service, good customer service is getting hard to find nowadays so when you have someone who understands the importance of this, it is a blessing.

Shutters By Design is a wonderful company to work with. They really helped us out in a jam!

Did not follow house plans. Used wrong strap hinges and left hinges off faux windows. PVC shutters look good but, not happy with the hinges. The shutters should have been fully functional as depicted on house plans and they do not function. Our new aluminum clad window frames are now drilled for the wrong hinges and we are stuck. Make sure to ask lots of question when doing business with Shutters by design and don't rely on your general contractor to make sure they are done correctly. We are not happy with Shutters by design nor our builder

The shutters were scratched and coming apart. The instructions were horrible and incorrect. But what do you expect for $125.00 for 1 set. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
