Your Hobby Place

After 30yrs I finally got back into miniature painting, I chose Army Painter as my go to brand. Normally I buy online but didn't want to wait this time for a delivery of four bottles of paint, so I looked up the closet gaming/hobby shop near me. I found this shop. I'm glad I did, I went in looking for paint and terrain supplies and found a plethora of things I didn't know I needed, but now want. I was like a squirrel seeing a shiny object. Everywhere I turned something else caught my eye. The gentleman behind the counter was knowledgeable and very helpful, I would highly recommend this shop for all your gaming/hobbying needs.

Better than expected hobby/gaming store; wide range of products, friendly staff, clean, and the gaming area doesn't spill over into the retail area - they deserve your business.

My previous review wasn't a great one due to a bad experience but it must have been an off day for the person working as my last visit there was exceptional and the workers were very helpful in the way that I remember from back in the day. A+ store for all your hobby needs. Great magic prices, great pokemon stock, awesome miniature stock, and a plethora of D&D books to choose from and much more.

I love this FLGS! The staff are friendly, easy to talk to, dont treat folks any different from each other. They are always willing to answer questions or help people who are looking for certain things. They will do special orders as well, and are very good about keeping you in the loop of order status. Def reco coming here if you are looking for gaming products

I love going here to play Magic the Gathering with my friends. Friendly staff. Large play area to play many types of games (tcg, miniatures, board games, etc.). I've been coming here for years and it's like my home away from home. Would highly recommend it for people who haven't checked the place out.

One of the best gaming shops I visit when I can. Wide range of miniatures, paints, supplies, boardgames, and associated material. Staff is fantastic and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Did a Google search on where I could play Pokémon TCG after building a couple decks, saw this place holds Pokémon events every Monday so I wandered in. Loved every second of it, learned a lot about the game, every last player and employee was super welcoming to me. 5 stars! Would recommend! Will be back!

Great store and great staff. They treat you like you're part of the family, and will always bend over backwards to help you get whatever it is you may want. If you're into any miniature game including historical they can help you out. Also extremely knowledgeable about Magic The Gathering with a huge selection of singles.

They now keep a selection of Pokémon singles in the case for fans to take a look at, and try to replace them weekly.

I can't recommend them enough for all of your hobby needs.

Was way bigger than I expected. Stuffed with table top and beyond. In the back there is a cafeteria worth of tables to accommodate the magic kids that showed up and another ten tables with terrain

Got a solid MTG Commander deck from here, as well as my first 40K kits. This is my regular stop for paints, brushes, and Magic the Gathering stuff. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the regulars are very welcoming as well. Well-lit, large recreation area for aforementioned hobbies. Great for gaming with friends or meeting new people (social distancing and masks for safety still). Honestly, it's worth visiting just to see the decorations and the sweet paint jobs on 40K models in their displays. 10/10.

Great employees, great atmosphere, and best of all, everyone that we have met there has been willing to help my son in understanding the games that he has decided to get involved in!!

The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. As an old collector getting back into the pokemon and yugioh this place literally has it all and if not just ask! And they always have a great amount of pokemon and magic singles!

Amazing hobby shop. Yas a very knowledgeable staff to help you out. If your building and magic the gathering deck, there are people there to help you out and build the best deck for the least amount of money. And allow free range of the play area to play card games or board games. Overall just an amazing under appreciated place. Would recommend.

Free place to enjoy different types of card games and a few other types a games I'm not familiar with but great atmosphere the people working there were familiar with my particular choice of card game and helped me save a little bit of money and chose the best starters cards. Amazing people! I'm defiantly going back there again!

I really enjoy going here for Magic: the Gathering pre-releases. This is definitely not my local shop, but it is worth the trip. I really enjoy the set up. They have the pairings for each round scrolling on tv screens mounted around the play area (which is massive). Other stores I've been to either have someone announce pairings out loud or simply print them out. I am very impressed with their system. They also have an insanely diverse collection of games and hobbies. Lots of models. Something for almost any hobby enthusiast. Always a fun time.

Excellent store. They have a very wide selection of materials on hand, and the owner is ready and willing to find any special orders to keep his customers happy. The back of the store has room to play almost any game you want as well. Overall, one of the better game stores around.

This place is one of, if not the best hobby stores I’ve visited during my trip to D.C. While it is out of the way of D.C., it was worth seeing the vast collect of miniatures and books. It has a large amount of rare and out of print models and books which I gleefully snagged a few of. Now that my wallet is empty, I can safely read my new books without the urge to spend money on frivolous things like food or hot water.
In all seriousness though, this store is a must see while visiting the area and I can’t wait to visit the next time I come up for a visit.

Great place. Stumbled upon it while looking for something very specific that we couldn't find anywhere else. They had it and when we went to check out the total didn't add up to $5 which wasn't enough for credit, but the guy behind the counter was like "hmm, do you want two sodas?" Very nice. I'd like to visit again.
