The owners have done a beautiful job renovating this place. I was there last week and bought three bottles of non-alcoholic wine. I would highly recommend this place if you need a getaway place to relax indoors or outdoors and relax from the hustle and bustle of city life. Great place to take a date! They have a lot of alcoholic wines to choose from too!

North Carolina wineries now number more than 100 and span roughly 550 miles from coast to mountains. Yet one doesn’t have to go very far to purchase wines from about a third of those wineries. Drive just five miles south of Pittsboro to unWined and find wines from several NC regions (including some close to home in the Triangle) in a single stop. Wine lovers themselves, the owners have traveled the state visiting the wineries represented in their shop. They vet each ensuring the wines are made with North Carolina grown grapes. Only open on weekends (Friday through Sunday) you can purchase a tasting course or wine by the glass or bottle. The warm interior of the shop welcomes visitors to take a seat inside on cooler days (and purchase some of the “lagniappe” to nibble while sipping). On warmer days the outdoor terrace invites guests to enjoy the peace and quiet of “Deep Chatham”. I think it's well worth the drive to unWined to explore all the wines NC has to offer.
