Their products are very high quality with many release specific details not seen on HO scale models previously by any manufacturers. Their special load selection is extensive, the industry specific details provided are outstanding - I cannot name any other manufacturers who come close (including brass which many times more expensive).
They provide very informative videos about assembly and installation details (Special loads) with historical information of the specific car or load.

Santa fe had there own home made gondolas back in the 60s various lengths and some were converted to woodchip cars. Look into doing models of those id buy dozens!

I lost use of my layout when my son returned home last year but what I have been able to see of the box cars they look good. My only complaint would be that probably correct, the paint appears dark. I’ll live with them.

The items I ordered (but two 'loads' get one car free) arrived in very good condition although 5 or 6 small parts had been dislodged from the 'transformer' that I had ordered. I think these parts might be able to be reglued to the transformer but that will have to wait until I am able to get back in my home after a flooring replacement job is done. Despite the damaged transformer the shipment arrived a couple days ahead of when I expected it to arrive and the products, in general, are of very good quality and detail and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from ClassOneModelWorks again.

I recently received your Thrall 86’ Box Cars.

I had to reach out to tell you they are probably one of the best rolling stock freight cars I’ve seen in quite some time! They roll well, have the Kadee #5 type couplers on them, and for folks running them on trains to do switching on their layout (which I do), they perform great!

Many other brands that you buy out of the box need some tweaking; not these! Kudos to you!!

Class One is a breath of fresh air, the quality and details on their cars has to be experienced. Take the deep well cars as an example you will throw rocks at the deep well cars from Athearn (my go to mfg) Atlas, Walthers or Kato I have had them all. They weigh 240% more than Athearn and 340% more than Atlas deep well cars. The looks are just flat miles apart. I currently have thirty four of their drop deck, Deep well, Auto parts cars and soon to arrive hoppers and two of every load they sell. Highly recommend!

Excellent model. Can't wait to get the 1940's-1950's version. Would be nice if the load I purchased came with instructions.

This is my second flat car. They both compare favorably to the prototype. The loads are well designed. As I model 1964, both fit my era. The second flat car will be “back dated” a bit.
