Shop A Lott (Exxon)

This store is THE BOMB! A must stop coming in from Dallas every trip just to get the meat pies! The boudin was just as good!!

Perfect stop! Great food! Great service.

We stop here to gas up and grab some meat pies everytime we come through. Food is good and normally the service is. However, today..out of the four ladies visiting with each other in the cubby hole across from the food area, only one acknowledged me to give me the food. One other lady had a hard time hiding her irritation that she had to stop visiting to come over to the register to check me out. The other two just waited for their friends to return. I know they are just young kids, but they need to work on their customer service skills. To have four employees sitting around visiting on a Saturday afternoon … if they continue this type of customer service, business will continue to slow down.

So we stopped by today & I must say that the customer service was not only much better since our last visit- it was exceptional. We purchase gas and two cases of beer but The ice cooler was empty and the lady at the register offered to bag us up two bags of ice to sell us- saved us from making another stop. The profit on two bags of ice is not a lot so we appreciate her taking the time to save us from having to make another stop.

Gas pump worked and the attendant was welcoming. The men's bathroom was disgusting.

Bathroom ok; Got gas & kept rolling.

On 5/07 at 4:16pm I stopped at the shop A Lott. The black young cashier was so nasty she never even spoke. The other white cashier that was nice was on her phone so I didnt think I could go to her. The food looked cold and nasty. The grease they fry the food in was OLD you could smell it all over the store. Reused grease has the worse smell ever. The bathrooms were nasty. The floor behind the area where the food was being prepared was so dirty and discussing. We stopped at this store because we always stop on the other side and they have gotten so packed I hate the lines. But I understand why they have a line. They have a clean facility and pleasant cashiers. Moving forward I will stand in line because when I spend my money I want to be treated with kindness. It takes two seconds to smile and say hello. Thats the least you can do when customers are paying your salary. I dont know HOW this place has 4 star. They must had done those reviews themselves.
