The LEGO® Store Kansas City Airport

Small store with a great selection including hard to find LEGO kits at MSRP. They even have an area for kids to build and play while waiting on a flight. Sweet video display that scans the box and virtually builds the kits. If you need to fulfill your plastic addition while passing through Kansas City International Airport they are ready satisfy your needs.

Lots of Lego blocks!

Lots of good hard to find sets. Didn't seem to have any training as far as Legos. Bags were from IMotion store. Asked to put in my I do to get my points and the guy didn't have any idea what I was talking about. Signage and receipt seem correct, but other things make me not sure if this is an official Lego Store.

I showed up here this morning. The store was open at 4am. I got there at 4:30am. I walked around the little store for about 30 minutes but there were no staff. I went to the till and scanned sets twice to see the price. Knocked on the back room door. No one was in the store for the entire 30 minutes. I ended up leaving because I could not buy anything with no staff.

The cashier (guy) had never heard of VIP points and knew nothing about their inventory. He became increasingly rude to me as the conversation progressed. After I made my purchase, he disappeared from the store to go chat with employees at the store next door. They also did not have any bags, so I was left carrying everything out. It was a bizarre experience that I would have never expected, which leads me to believe this is not an official Lego store. If it is, they really need to investigate their employees and management at this location.

It is June 15th at 10:15am. The worker (she had her name badge turned around) here was completely useless. She did not know anything about shipping or pricing. When I asked any kind of question she would mumble "I don't know that off the top of my head." When I asked if anybody was there to help she said "uhh, no. We are a little short staffed." I am disappointed in the lack of training and concern the employee showed.

You cannot get to the Lego store if you do not have a plane ticket!!
