Ocean State Job Lot

I bought a dining room set from here the other day, and the experience there was beyond what I find with modern customer service. Two employees went above and beyond to help us load the set into our car. Thank you, Penny and Daniel, for your help! I don’t usually write google reviews, but the impression these two gave me has left me with so much appreciation.

A young employee named Chey that was helping me went far above and beyond any employee has anywhere else I have ever been! Because of her I bought five times the amount of pet toys I originally planned on even getting for my sweet lil cat! You want to meet the most caring and respectful employee in the world? Then come to this store and be prepared to be amazed of their dedication! She could probably keep this store running all on their own with how fantastic they truly are!

This is a store where you find all kinds of things.You really need a good hour to go through all the aisles.Also the people who work at the Derry store are really nice.

This is a discount department store with frequently changing products. They do have items that you would find at regular stores for a cheaper price, but the real benefit is in their crazy deals and Insiders club. I don't think it will replace your regular trips to a normal department store, but it's well worth keeping an eye on. 😊

Ocean state is a great place to pick up items for around the house and yard. I usually go here to pick up lawn equipment. This store has plenty of parking and is a clean store. Prices are great. I will come back as I always do.

A little while ago my wife and I went looking for a new mattress pad. We found a nice one at a great price. We also found other items we needed. The employees asked if we needed help while we were there and the cashier was also helpful. It's a great store to shop at with good deals on everything.

Staff is always friendly and helpful here. Sometimes there's a bit of a line but they always scramble to make sure they don't keep you waiting any longer than necessary. Great selection of random, inexpensive snack foods, drinks, and candy!! Very reasonable prices on everything, you never know what you might find. This time I got a big bottle of shampoo for $7, a pair of over glasses sunglasses for $5, and a bunch of energy drinks for $.89 each! You may not find the same items every time you come in, but there's something in here for everyone. Car stuff, cleaning supplies, toiletries, clothes, garden/yard supplies, kids toys, dog treats, everything! Only downside is the store ALWAYS looks closed because of the tint on their front doors, and some areas of the store are a little disorganized and dark. Otherwise 5 stars.

I love this store. I am always finding great deals on seasonal items that other stores no longer carry, like sleds, kids 3M gloves (waterproof), etc... If you can't find something, try this store. Also they are very friendly and their return policy is very customer friendly.

This Store is really great, with really friendly and helpful people. They have a great food selection and love the way they bring in the seasonal products. While shopping there the people I spoke to really liked the products, prices and how clean and organized the store is. Some of them said they drove to this store because of the reasons I stated above. Great deals, great products and a very nice new store manager (Christina). I will be shopping there more often...

Great deals on a variety of items. Area rugs are great variety and quality and reasonably priced for example. I've bought a wide variety of items. Definitely recommend to check it out.

A wide selection of products for the home, car, kids, etc, at good prices. I usually get my wild bird seeds and suets here. I also get some of my bread making supplies here. They have several Bob's Red Mill products including gluten-free items.

Many thanks to sales lady, Liz, today. I was buying Bob's Red Mill GF products. It was a very large shopping list. Liz helped me find all the products and helped sort them by product to make it easier for cashier to ring up. Great shopping experience in today. Thank you.
