Edit: still adore this store but what are your hours?? This is my third time coming when it says it’s open but the store is closed. The hours and google and the website might need some editing cause a couple stores were closed by 7:20 when I got there (cool if they close early just put it in the hours so we know)

Love this place! There are some hidden gems if you take the time to look around. Also Liz, thank you for helping with anything I needed and having a sweet demeanor. You were awesome!!

Meredith and I believe the other was Kelly (if wrong I will correct stoner brain apologize) are freaking amazing. I had a million questions and they answered them all. They helped me pick out the correct topper and the best delta 8 preroll. Everytime we come in they are just happy, smiling and bubbly. Love love love this location. Thank you ladies for always being so helpful.

Update as of 2/9/24 Meredith is still dope as hell and this is still my favorite location to come to even though we live further south. Thank you for awesome customer service.

At first sight the frontage of the store is much longer than expected, takes up a good part of the strip plaza even though the entrance is labeled, it can still be intimidating with two or three other doors that belong to the store. If and when you make it into the store, the fear of opening the correct entrance door is gone and you are always greeted with genuine welcome from the staff or Owners. The selection is larger than anticipated so plan on a little extra time to explore. I don't know enough about pricing to say that they are cheap, reasonable, or expensive, but regardless they will have a larger selection if not the largest in St.Pete. Hope this helps!

It's a good place to grab incense and other items like that. The customer service could use a lot of work.

UPDATE: So I haven't shopped here in a while and so I decided to give this place a second chance. Apparently, the place got an upgrade with new layout and new staff. These guys are awesome and I haven't had a negative experience. Got a great selection of items still. I'd recommend 👌

I love everyone at this shop. They are super cool and treat each customer to make them feel important. I've been going there now for a year and they have always been super nice but now they feel like family. It feels good walking into a store and all the employees know your name. This is lost in this time of online shopping. Also, they are very knowledgeable and professional. Kudos to my asylum family.

Staff were very friendly when I arrived at the store. Very good vibe, offered some candy right away! 🍬 😁 Customer service was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable. One of the gentlemen was very patient and helped me pick out the item that was the perfect fit for me. Highly recommend!

Awesome store, lots of incense. Picked up a serpentine dolphin at a super great price.

Liz was awesome. Always a great attitude and has a tendency to always look out for the customer which then ensures a customer for life. People should be more like Liz in this world!

Hands down best smoke shops in the area for decades!! Don't be fooled by competitors with neon signs & grossly marked up products!! Asylum is guaranteed to have the best prices & most knowledgeable & helpful staff at every one of their locations. We are truly spoiled by the consistency and convenience of Asylum!

I will not go to any other head shop in the area, if I can help it. The employees are always as helpful as you need them to be, educated, and don’t try to up sell if you don’t need it. The prices are great and inventory is good. My boyfriend and I always seem to walk out with more than we needed...and I’m not mad at it. Thank you for being the best.

Asylum has by far, always seemed to have the most fair prices. Best service and staff, all super helpful. Been to this location since I turned 21 and have literally never had a problem going here.

Love this place. They have all the goods you need. Everyone is always so helpful and friendly. I've purchased several pieces from here and also get Kratom every so often. Everyone is knowledgeable and the store is always clean. They have multiple locations and they are all fantastic.

So drove to asylum this morning only to find out they can't offer curbside service. So I called and spoke with Josh about how I could still get the product that I needed. He informed they could deliver. Josh went above and beyond to communicate with me to get exactly what I wanted. Great guy, great store. Exactly the way customer service should be. No better store in the area for all your tobacco products needs. Thanks again guys. You rock

Great customer service, the sweetest most knowledgeable girls work here! Such great staff, always friendly and helpful! They have the newest stuff and seriously know their facts on the products. Love this location even more than the original, been a customer for 5+ years.

Lots to choose from for a small (but organized) store. The young lady, Liz?, I think, was very respectful and friendly. More importantly, she was very knowledgeable about the products I was interested in. They have a larger store on Ulmerton Rd. Gonna check it out too!
