Koalaty the Gaming Store - River Forest

I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of TCG/Collectibles and who wants to work with an honest shop owner who actually cares about their customers. I have been to plenty of card shops in Illinois and let me just say, most of the owners seem to be arrogant and always try to overcharge but I never felt that way at Koalaty! Super comfortable environment and with awesome product to match! Would highly recommend anyone to stop by and check out their TCG and Tournaments!

We enjoyed the gaming and had some snacks. I would suggest serving some budwieser beer on tap.

Owners are awesome, super friendly and passionate about the games they know. Been frequently stopping by and there is always a community and friendly people playing in shop too. Creates a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Good selection of Pokemon and Yugioh cards as well as tons of great licensed anime merchandise.

Great spot to chill with friends! Very reasonable prices on everything (figures, cards, games, snacks, etc) especially card sleeves as well. Highly recommended! They got a gaming station and DDR machine as well as an extra backroom for play. Owners are super nice too~

I ended up looking this place up simce it's close toy sims school. I been to a few shops for cards int he city and some are good and some are not . This place was good i felt suck a good ambient at the place . Friendly owners and they have a good display of cards and toys for collectors. I will be taking my son to this new gem we found more often now . Thank you for a great experience!

Awesome customer service, really cool toys and figures they got and everyone is really chill. I've been buying alot of things from them and when you sell cards they are pretty decent. I recommend going here if your starting out on any card games or wanna collection.

You will never find another place like this! Not only does it have trading cards(Pokemon, Yugioh), it has statues, plushes and figures of various anime characters! The owners are very nice! You can tell they actually care about the customer and not only see $$$ when a customer walks in. Definitely my go to place from now on.

Awesome store, owners are amazing they have all your anime/cards you will need. Will be doing all my shopping needs with them. Highly recommend!

Really fun spot for card game players to buy cards and accessories, and lots of weekly tournaments and community events to participate in. Really enjoyed all my visits here - the staff and other customers are extremely friendly, the tournaments are a blast, the merch is really unique and cool, and the store has a great vibe.

Great shop the guy there is super nice I got Pokémon cards there maybe a little more cards would be nice but overall great place.
