Slyman Bros Appliances

I have been waiting on an oven at a local place in Illinois where I am from and after 5 weeks I had to contact them cause they said three weeks and only because I contacted my original place did they look into it and said it would be another 4-5 weeks which should have been relayed to me. After my disappointment hearing that I looked on line and Slyman had my same oven in stock and called to order it and their price was better so I cancelled my other order , called Slyman back and it will be here next week. In a few hours I got more customer service than I have in the last five weeks! Thank you Slyman and you have a long standing Illinois customer! Chad was great!

Working with Mary Beth was a complete pleasure. Her level of service is unmatched. She made sure my refrigerator purchase was exactly what I wanted and that it would fit in the space I have. When my washer went out a week later she did the same with it.
The delivery team, Jesston and Alex, were on time, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable about set up. They delivered and set up my refrigerator in 30 minutes. Excellent service.

We bought a new Bosch dishwasher to replace ours that just went south. Chad Hester was extremely knowledgeable, and did a great job explaining cost, features, and time for delivery and installation. It was a painless and pleasant experience in what has been a nightmare in other stores.

First, the showroom is awesome! Clean, brightly lit and welcoming. We were looking for a new washer like Grandma used to have...something simple, robust, and easy to use. Jake was right there to meet us and super informative. Ultimately, we went with a Speed Queen. Check out and pick up at the warehouse was a breeze too. Vince at the warehouse was super helpful, and helped secure the beast into out truck. I'll definitely be back to Slyman's for our appliances needs.

We needed a new refrigerator desperately, as our 23-year-old fridge could not be repaired! Both of my children recommended Slyman Bros. Appliances, as they have made multiple purchases from this company over the years. We were greeted at the door by Jake at the Ballwin location and were ushered to the refrigeration section. I saw two models that I liked immediately. After Jake knowledgeably answered my questions and confirmed the measurements for me, I selected a French Door model with the freezer drawer on the bottom. Jake also successfully scheduled a delivery date sooner than we expected, given the holiday this week! I am grateful for this very pleasant experience at Slyman Bros., and we will gladly return to shop for other appliances as the needs arise.

We just purchased a Speed Queen wash machine from Slyman Appliances. Our sales person Mary Beth was very helpful, we knew exactly what we wanted, price was good and delivery was on the day we selected. Was happy to support our local business!

we recently purchased a new GE refrigerator and had a near flawless experience. Such that when our microwave decided to cease to work we immediately decided to return to Slyman Bros. Another quick visit with lots of information making choosing a new microwave simple. We will remain loyal to this business.

Very easy to deal with. Salesman, Dan, explained use of the wash machine patiently, clearly and succinctly. No hard sell or attempt to upgrade. Was in and out of the store in minutes. All in all it was a pleasant experience. Would do business with them anytime.

Excellent experience shopping at Slyman Bros today. Mary Beth Marshall worked extensively not giving up until she successfully located the correct dimensions of a refrigerator to fit in my kitchen. It was lovely working with her. I highly recommend this store and this wonderful hard-working employee who genuinely wishes to please her customers.

Jake exceeded our expectations! We started at a big box store and left a little frustrated because they did not fully understand our needs. Their service was sincere but they did not have the knowledge base that Jake did. It took about 5 minutes of discussion with him to determine the best option for our needs. He listened to all our questions and answered them in full. He also took the time to explain pricing differences between Slyman Brothers and the other store. In the end we were able to get a much better overall value for less money. We highly recommend this company

All around great experience at Slyman Bros. Needed a new stove and microwave. Got exactly what we were looking for. Our salesman was knowledgeable and easy-going. Didn't try to upsell us, just answered our questions. On the day of delivery, we were kept informed of the progress of the installation crew toward our house. When the crew arrived, they installed each appliance with no issues, all the while displaying a pleasant attitude. This is not our first purchase from Slyman, nor will it be our last.

The sales and service experience provided by Greg Gibson was top notch!! There was a minor glitch in the delivery and installation process and Greg went above and beyond to get it corrected.

Slyman will meet or beat any competitors pricing. We verified that ourselves. Therefore why would you want to shop the big box national chains. Shop local and support small businesses!

This is our 2nd purchase from Slyman Brothers and their salesperson, Jake Kopesky. Jake provided such a great experience with our first purchase, a washing machine, that when we decided to buy a new dishwasher our first and only choice was to reach out again to Jake.
We like his style, and his candor. Not sure the best way to say this, but he facilitated the sale, he was not a pushy salesperson -- hope that makes sense. He is knowledgeable about the products he sells, the pros and cons. Definitely our go-to person for appliance sales.

Chad was Very knowledgeable and the showroom had a great selection of dishwashers. Customer service was amazing. We will be back again to upgrade the rest of our appliances.
